Hi,

This situation is getting really annoying. Whenever it's sunny out, our neighbors let their dogs out into their yard and the first thing they do is rush straight to the fence and start barking.

First off, we have no problem with our neighbors as they are really nice people, it's just their dogs which is the problem.

We have dogs, so we have resorted to letting our dogs bark back at their dogs, however after 2-3 minutes of barking our dogs get bored and come back inside where as there dogs keep on going at it for ages (longest I remember was 45mins-1hr).

There is nothing we can do to stop them from letting their dogs into the yard, but surely there is something which can be done without resorting to violence/arguments.

The dogs constant barking makes spending time in our back yard in this glorious weather uncomfortable.
