I have played Runescape for about 3 years. I also play lots of other RPG's. I really love online gaming. I've also done World of Warcraft online for a while, it's a great game, but I got tired of it quickly. I'm also a big fan of PS2 games. Especially the Final Fantasy series. Games for life. \m/

  • What is the safest way to transfer cold and frozen food to a new refrigerator?

... without buying a bunch of coolers I'll never use again?

Someone suggested I use a large bag of ice (or more) in the freezer and the refrigerator compartments of the new appliance and store my food immediately, like an Ice chest.

I would rather not buy and then toss out coolers (which I have no other use for) if I can avoid it.

Another person said to wait anywhere from 2 to 24 hours before loading.

Third advice received was similar to preparing for a blackout, was to fill several large empty plastic soda bottles 3/4 full and freezing them; then immediately put them in the compartments of the appliance with my food. Similar to a hundred years ago or so when they got ice shipments daily and put them in their refrigerators.

I don't want anyone to get food poisoning.

  • I need help fixing a printer with a paper clog message.?

I have a Canon Pixma MP160 model, and it's worked perfectly before this. It's now showing an error message that translates to a paper clog.

I've thoroughly checked the machine, to the best I can, for clogs and found nothing.

I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem and fixed it successfully; and if so, how?

I'm out of work at the moment, and cannot afford to bring it to a shop for repair, or replace it.

I have tried turning it off and "rebooting" it. I've removed the feed paper and replaced it, so that didn't fix the problem.

I can really use some helpful advice, please.

    Thanks!

  • Best and Worst computers? Help with buying ideas!?

    Hi there;

I'm going to be buying a new computer within the next few months, and would appreciate your honest input.

What systems do you prefer and why? Pc or Mac?

If you've recently bought or received a new computer, what was it and what did you think of it, performance - wise?

Did you recently try someone else's system, and was it great or a real bomb?

How much memory do you really need for Windows Vista? I've heard conflicting stories.

I've already been told not to waste my time on bargain computers, as they usually are just cheap versions of pc's, and not really fast, poor graphics and cannot handle much gaming past 2-D games.

Please post your opinions, I'm happy to hear from the Answers Community

  • Out and About...?

A young nun who worked for a local home healthcare agency was out making her rounds when she ran out of gas.

As luck would have it there was a gas station just one block away. She walked to the station to borrow a can with enough gas to start the car and drive to the station for a fill up. The attendant regretfully told her that the only gas can he owned had just been loaned out, but if she would care to wait he was sure it would be back shortly.

Since the nun was on the way to see a patient she decided not to wait and walked back to her car. After looking through her car for something to carry to the station to fill with gas, she spotted a bedpan she was taking to the patient. Always resourceful, she carried it to the station, filled it with gasoline, and carried it back to her car.

As she was pouring the gas into the tank of her car two men watched her from across the street. One of them turned to the other and said, "If that car starts, I'll go to church every Sunday for

  • What to do when you're retired....?

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.

Well, for example, the other day I went downtown and went into a shop. I was only in there for about five minutes and when I came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.

I went up to him and said, "Come on, man, how about giving a retired person a break?"

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a "Nazi."

He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So I called him a "doughnut eating Gestapo."

He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first.

Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, I didn't care. I came downtown on the bus!

  • Holy Golf!?

The Pope met with his Cardinals to discuss a proposal from Ehud Olmert, the leader of Israel.

"Your Holiness", said one of his Cardinals, "Mr. Olmert wants to challenge you to a game of golf to show the friendship and ecumenical spirit shared by the Jewish and Catholic faiths."

The Pope thought this was a good idea, but he had never held a golf club in his hand. "Don't we have a Cardinal to represent me?" he asked.

"None that plays very well," a Cardinal replied. "But," he added, "there is a man named Jack Nicklaus, an American golfer who is a devout Catholic. We can offer to make him a Cardinal, then ask him to play Mr. Olmert as your personal representative. In addition, to showing our spirit of cooperation, we'll also win the match."

Everyone agreed it was a good idea. The call was made. Of course, Nicklaus was honored and agreed to play. The day after the match, Nicklaus reported to the Vatican to inform the Pope of the result. "I have some good news and some bad news, your Holiness," said the golfer.

"Tell me the good news first, Cardinal Nicklaus," said the Pope.

"Well, your Holiness, I don't like to brag, but even though I've played some pretty terrific rounds of golf in my life, this was the best I’ve ever played, by far. I must've been inspired from above. My drives were long and true, and my putting was absolutely perfect. With all due respect, my play was truly miraculous."

"And there's bad news?", the Pope asked.

"Yes," Nicklaus sighed. "I lost to Rabbi Tiger Woods by three strokes."

  • What career options for someone getting back to work after a few years?

I've been home on disability for a while, and I want to get back to work.

Physically demanding jobs are totally out, as I'm still somewhat physically weak, and cannot stand or walk long distances.

I need to work to get out of the house and be with others, rather than staying home. It's too depressing!

What jobs would you recommend for someone just getting back on their feet work-wise?

    Thanks.
