  • Can someone claim copyright my book already out on the market?

I created a memoir/book from my protected website and at the same time apparently so did someone else using my exact story, content, and my quotes for a complete rewrite of my memoir without permission or crediting me in any way.

Mine came out 2010 for sale, and I won National Novel Writing Month with it Nov 31, 2010. she claims a backdated copyright 2011. She has been direct competition for me in same genre for five years using my story, content and quotes, and I have (just now) found out about it and caught her. My copyright is still in setu status for 2015 because I didn't expect anyone to use my exact story with my family names and likeness and everything the exact same.

Now that I have caught her she is now claiming "fair use" of my material. Is this really possible in this situation since it was a complete re-write using my whole exact story with mine already out on market? I still own original website all content came from with warnings clearly on it so it isn't de-funked or outdated or anything and my book is still for sale but now she has sold millions of copies of my story claiming it as her own. Because of this I have been written out of my own twenty year autobiography.

    Do I have any rights?

  • What is the proper procedure for organ donation?

I have become an organ donor and I have some questions that I couldn't find answers to on the site or anywhere else.

    1. If I die in my sleep and my family finds me the next morning are my organs still usable?

    2. Who does my family contact first upon my death? Ambulance? My Doctor? Organ donation people?

    3. How can my family find out who has my organs after I am gone?

  • Uncooperative seller with lien on car title?

We have paid off our car and we registered the car with the lien still on it and since it was paid off but the seller is still saying she thought it was just a payment and that we owe the full amount again. We have our receipts showing it paid in full but what do we do now? Can we sue her for our entire amount we paid to her back and give the car back to her?

  • Would this product work for my dog?

I have been using this product for a while now and would like to use it on my dog. Right now he gets lemon water for his ph levels. It states use 1 spoon per 8oz for people but for a dog it might be much less dosage. I called the company but they were clueless. A lot of local vets have no idea either. I know lots of people are using the ph drops and similar products on their dogs water but are these ingredients (safe) for dogs when mixed with water? Would like a Vet's opinion or holistic practitioner. Thank you :)

    pHion Alkaline Maintenance Program

Neutralizes harmful acids. pHion Alkaline Minerals contains all five primary alkaline minerals: calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, and iron. Once these mineral buffers hit the system, they neutralize excess acids.

Replenishes mineral reserves. When taken on a daily basis, pHion Alkaline Minerals will go beyond just neutralizing the acids in your system. It will help you build up your mineral reserves so you have a ready supply of minerals on-hand when needed.

Features calcium from organic whey. The calcium in pHion Alkaline Minerals is derived from organic whey powder, making it perhaps the only organic-source calcium on the market.

Formulated for optimal absorption. In addition to the five alkaline mineral buffers, pHion Alkaline Minerals includes the perfect amount of phosphorous, a co-nutrient of calcium, to ensure optimal calcium absorption.

Easy to take. Best of all, pHion Alkaline Minerals completely dissolves in water and tastes great so it’s easy to incorporate into your diet.

As a nation, we live an extremely acidic life. The foods we eat are acid-forming: meat and poultry, pasteurized dairy products, baked goods, trans fats and cooked oils, and refined sugars. Even most of the beverages we drink are acid-forming: coffee, tea, pasteurized juices and milk, and carbonated drinks. The lifestyle habits we have are acid-forming: drugs (both pharmaceutical and “recreational”), alcohol, and stimulants. The emotional states we gravitate toward are acid-forming: stress, anxiety, and fear.1 And certain external factors that we have little control over are acid-forming, like pollution and aging. (Many studies have shown that acidification increases with age.)2

“But aren’t our bodies naturally equipped with the ability to neutralize these acids?”, you may be thinking. The short answer is yes. The human body removes weak acids (like citric acid in lemons or acetic acid in apple cider vinegar) from the lungs in the form of carbon dioxide. And it removes strong acids from the kidneys through the urine, and from the skin through the sweat. However, our bodies can only process so much acid – especially strong acid.
