  • Sore Throat And Cough!?

Last 2-3 days, I have had a sore throat. I have drank my plenty of fluids, tea, gatorade and etc. I gargled with salt water, taking NyQuil at night. Today, my throat has really bugged me, I can hardly swallow my saliva, I have a "spit cup". Not only that, I am coughing a bit, taking my cough drops. I do not feel weak or anything, I am wondering, what should I do next, without visiting a doctor, because I do not think it is at that level.

  • Digestive Question?

Will try to make this as short as possible. A couple weeks back, had bad salsa, turned my stomach inside out to say the least. I noticed red spots in my stool for a few days after that. My bowel movements changed, I would normally be at a 3 or 4 on the stool, but now I am at the 5, and I go 3 times a day(which in the past would only be once at most).

For the most part those red spots vanished, but I would still go a couple times a day, and have soft stools. I went and saw the doctor the doctor the other day, and he basically stated it was likely from stress(which makes a bit of sense because I was kinda of freaked out by it). He checked my stomach, and asked me if I had any pains, I said no. I was not nauseous, vomiting and what not. He basically told me to get mylanta, because I was belching quite a bit, which it has helped me.

So, I still been the same, same stool (5) and I noticed those red spots again(really small, you have to get kinda of close to see them). I been monitoring them. I do not want to sound like a hypochondriac and call my doctor again. But I am wondering what the issue might be? Hemorrhoids?

  • Headache Question(Also Brain Tumor Question)?

Well about a week and a half ago I was getting these sharp little headaches for a brief second and they were going away. Those have stopped for the most part, I did some research and appears they were called "ice pick headaches". Fair enough. The mini hypercondriac that I am, kept thinking it is something more, and my mind wondered to brain tumors. I have been getting these mini headaches here and there, nothing too painful, just annoying. But back my question about brain tumors. I did a little research(actually quite a bit) and it does not appears i have most of the symptoms, nausea, vomiting, loss of balance, vision, loss of short term memory. I have started exercising quite a bit, swimming, lifting, riding my bike, and now I have felt these muscle twitches, around my arms, and a little bit near right side of my head. These were never really a problem till I have started working out. I do plan on seeing a doctor, though my insurance won't kick in for another few weeks, about 3 weeks or so. All of these little things have been bothering me since I started doing research and believe the stress is what is kind of causing me to get these headaches and not feeling that great about myself, outside of working out. So just want to get some opinions before visiting with a doctor. So what gives? Is it me just being overdramatic, overanalyzing, over reading certain things. The first thing I check in the morning is to see if I have a headache, and I really don't, then I started to think about it and spend my time reading about little things, or me just sitting here worrying myself.

Oh I am a 28 year old male.

  • Sharp Little Headaches?

Once and a while I have been getting these sharp little headaches that last for a short time. Majority of the time it's on my left(right above my left side of my hair which sometimes it feels like the brain then sometimes goes side of my head) side and sometimes it's on the right. They feel like a stabbing feeling, they last for a brief time and go. Sometimes it happens for a few days(handful of times a day) to not happening for months and months. From what I have read, it seems this is called a "ice pick" headache. I don't really have a history of headaches, migraines and whatnot. Personally, I think it could be a couple bad teeth that need to be taken care of and the one that needs to be taken care of is on my left side, but I always delayed the process till my insurance kicks in. So anybody that had similar issues with "ice pick" headaches or bad teeth that caused sharp pain?

  • loss of appetite.....?

Well, let me give the back story.

Sunday night I ate something late and the next morning I woke up feeling a bit sick. I wasn't vomiting or anything like that. I had stomach cramps. Later that Monday I ate dinner and went to bed earlier than I normally do which I woke up around midnight, took a bath since my stomach wasn't feeling good, and went back to bed.

Tuesday woke up, still not feeling great, lost my appetite and hardly ate.

Wednesday, the stomach cramps were gone, went and bought a sandwich, ate half of a footlong with fries but I kinda forced myself to eat. Was burping a bit.

Thursday I felt a bit better, I ate normally but I never felt hungry throughout the day, I ate quite a bit but it felt like it didn't make a difference how much or how little I ate. But I had breakfast.lunch, dinner, fruits and etc. Didn't feel full or hungry.

So today I woke up, I still don't really feel hungry but I will do what I did on Thursday and just eat. Last couple of days I been burping a bit and a bit gassy. Without seeing a Doctor yet, I am wondering what the problem be? I believe it stems back from the greasy burger I ate that night that I shouldn't have.

Physically I feel fine, I feel like I am go ride my bike for miles or jog and even swim in the pool. So, what might the problem be? Anybody have the same issues or anything?

  • Math Help(Probability)?

The Proportion of college student who take Stats is P=.22

A)If 200 college students are selected at randon, how many would you expect to take Stats?

I am confused on how to input this was in in Ti-84. I go to to binompdf, right? But that does not seem right because it doesn't give it the numbers that I believe will be the answer. Trials 200, P: .22 not sure what the x value would be.... Can I get a helping hand on this one?

  • Math Question(Stats)?

    I know it's used for the T-interval but I have a question.

Even if the sample is for example 547, would I do 547-1? For the degree of freedom when I am showing work?

    1 AnswerMathematics8 years ago
  • Some Help With Math(Stats)?

It is mostly for the Degree of Freedom towards confidence interverals for a population mean.

I use this for strictly the T-interval right? Not the Z.

  • Neck and Shoulder Pain?

So, Wednesday night or so I noticed my neck and right shoulder started to bother me quite a bit. It gradually got worse, so I took a couple of Advil's, that helped a little. But getting come kind of sucks, I struggle a little bit, and moving my neck and shoulder bother me in the mornings. Also just moving my head a couple inches to adjust my pillow bug me in the middle of the night, and that is a bit of a struggle. During the day I have my little massager and icy hot help a bit. I am wondering what else can I do to speed up the process of getting better(without visiting a doctor, it's not at that stage, I don't believe). Should I use an ice pack or stretching exercises? Thanks in advance.

  • Some Help In French. .......?

I am wondering about QUE and QUI and when to really use both.

I have many variations on how to really use it. I have heard QUI comes before the Action and QUE comes after the Action.

I also have have heard QUI is used when the preceding noun is the subect of the following verb.

Que, is used when the preceding noun is the direct object of the following verb.

Sometimes it gets tricky with the before and after like

Bette est une étudiante QUE Tex a embrassée. I was going to think it was going to be QUI, because Bette was the student that was going to(before the action). But I kind of read it again the it was actually QUE...

Is there ways to really figure it out, I know when it's j'ai, that word prior is que. But are there examples I can use to help understand this a bit better? Sometimes it seems like I am getting it and others, I lose the plot. TY

    1.85 3.41 4.00 5.22 6.28

Compute the z-score corresponding to the 1971 rainfall of .97inch. Interpret this result.

The answer is Z=-1.70. The rainfall amount was 1.70 standard deviations below the mean April rainfall.

Can I get how this was? I know the foruma is Z=X-Mu/Population and it did not come out right.

  • Question ABout Cell Phone Data Plan?

Well, I am thinking about getting a new cell phone(sony xperia, from Skyfall, I am with AT&T). I do not want to pay for the extra data plan per month, so if I get the phone unlocked, do I still have to pay for the extra 20+ dollars a month? I do not really use my phone for internet, just texting and calls, that's about it.
