  • So depressed and don't know why?

I don't have a damn reason to be depressed.

This far, I love living in Chicago. I've already started high school, which I don't like particularly but is no worse than any other I've attended.

I also restarted my dancing and pilates classes and I like the crowd there. I've never been this healthy and looked this good in my life.

I don't have money issues, I do have a wonderful family and I've met loads of new people in past two weeks.

However, I find myself feeling worse by the minute. I'd just like to fall asleep and not wake up for six months or so. I'm crying everyday, I'm so easily irritated and I feel like spending all my time alone, even though I generally like people.

Does anyone have any idea on why I'm feeling like this, and more importantly, how the hell to make it stop?

  • I can't change my Yahoo! profile photo?

To set this straight, I know *how* to change my profile photo and I am positive that I'm properly logged in, it's just that when I click the ''Change Photo'' link, nothing happens. Nothing as in when you click on empty screen. The address in the address bar doesn't change, the page doesn't refresh, it just stays the same.

Has someone else experienced this and is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks in advance!

  • If one person is childfree while the other wants kids, could theie marriage work?

It's just something that came to my mind after a conversation with my sister earlier today.

The question is, could two people who love each other, enjoy a lot of mutual interests, spend time together and work on their relationship still have a good marriage and be both happy if one of them won't be complete until s/he is a parent, while the other is and wants to remain childfree?

Note that, in this case, by childfree I'm talking about a person who does not have any wish nor intention to ever become a parent and feels strongly against the whole concept of parenthood, regardless of whether they have physical and material abillity to have a child.

    Please, only serious answers.

  • Why do people criticize married women who choose to keep their maiden names?

I have to write a school paper on labeling. In my country, if a married woman chooses to keep her own last name, rather than adopting her husband's, a lot of people, especially elderly, are talking about that as if she should be ashamed of keeping her name. My cousin has been told by her father-in-law that she shouldn't keep her maiden name ''because it's not normal''.

I would like to know how is the custom of keeping one's maiden name treated in your country and what are your personal opinions on that.

  • What do you think of my name?

My name is Ana Caterina Martín (Martín is the last name).

Personally, I love it, but it's very unusual here where I live, so I'm afraid I might get teased for it... Any cool nicknames?

  • Is my waist really too wide?

Are 37-27-34 good measurements for a 15-year-old girl?

The reason I'm asking this is that my classmates told me I was fat when changing after the PE class. I don't consider myself fat, but I do have a bulge when I wear somewhat tighter jeans... Thanks in advance. :D

  • How can I shape my body?

I'm 15, around 165 cm tall, and I weigh about 54-55 kg, so I don't think I'm fat, and don't want to lose weight, but my body, my stomach in particular, is sort of soft and I have no muscle or anything. I know I have to work out, but I don't know how... Any help?

  • Am I really that spoiled?

Recently I found out that most of the people who know me think I'm spoiled, although they all stated it's cute and a part of my personality, being spoiled is not the image I wanna have.

I'm fifteen. My family is not super-rich, but we have money, so I have a lot of clothes, shoes and purses, and I have never had to earn anything, just ask for it, but I've never seen that as big issue because I'm fairly good student and I don't make problems or anything. Also, I don't do the dishes nor clean the house and I can't cook... But I don't think I've ever acted as a spoiled brat, I never brag with things I own or anything...

So, do I really look that spoiled?

  • Glasses / sunglasses question?

Well, If I wear prescription glasses everyday, will wearing non-diopter sunglasses further damage my eyes?

To explain it better, I'm near-sighted (- 1.25 left eye; - 1.00 right eye), I wear my glasses everyday, but I have quite light eyes (blue, to be precise) and I live in a fairly sunny town so I have to wear sunglasses when outside (I have quality ones, but non-diopter). So I want to know will wearing them whenever outside damage my eyes more than if I had diopter sunglasses?

  • Glasses or contacts?

I'm near-sighted and I have been using glasses for almost two years and I still feel very uncomfortable with them.

My optician told me that I should wear them all the time, but since I find them uncomfortable I use them only when reading. I constantly have the feeling of looking trough dirty plastic (My glasses aren't scratched and I clean them regularly)... My parents (they both wear glasses) told me that feeling was normal and that I will get used to that, but I haven't.

I would like to try contacts, but I'm not sure. Should I try?

I've heard that they cause infection. Is that true?

And are they hard to put in and get out?

    Are they expensive?

    Help pls.

  • What sport should I choose?

I would like to play some sport, but I don't know which one to choose...

I'm 14 and not very fit, that's why I would like to do sports.

I don't like team activities (not exactly a team player), and I don't really like running, but I could get used to it.

Swimming is out of choice because in my town there isn't an indoors pool and climate is not very hot.

    Somebody pls answer!!!!
