Since we can use this type of system to transport oil why not water. With climate change we will be having more flooded areas and more droughts pron areas. The cost to build this aqua duct system could be paid for over time by the areas accepting the water for crops and to supply large cities. It will also save not only lives but property damage in the flood pron areas. I'm not an engineer, but would like to know if this idea is feasable.
