24mm, 25mm or 35mm for a crop sensor?
So, I have a Canon 60D and, as you may know, this camera has the APS-C crop sensor. I wanted to upgrade from my kit lens (which was the 18-135 f3.5 AF IS) and bought the Rokinon 85mm T1.5 Cine lens and the Canon EF 40mm f2.8 "pancake" lens. I love them, they are an awesome upgrade, and the biggest perk is the much better apertures. For video, it can't be beat.
My problem is that for a class I'm taking, we're going to start getting into more narrative focused filming (I do more "documentary" style shoots and often need to close a gap in distance) and with the cropped sensor, both of my lenses work out to over 60mm in focal length. I wanted something in the 35mm range after the sensor's crop is factored in so I was looking at a 24, 25 or even 35mm lens to get as close to that 35mm spot with a more open aperture. If I got another Rokinon lens in any of these focal lengths, they are about the same price, so what is my best option? Thanks so much for the help!
2 AnswersCameras6 years agoHow do I add songs to my iPhone without iTunes on a mac?
Okay, this has been really frustrating me. I used to use CopyTransManager on my PC but I bought a Mac and figured, "How hard is it going to be to find an alternative?". Apparently very hard because I can't find a single piece of software, paid or free, that will take music from my computer and put them on my phone. I found plenty that say they will move the music into my iTunes library, but that is not what I want to do. I want to go the opposite way from my computer to my phone. Anyone know of software that will do this?
1 AnswerMusic & Music Players7 years agoCan I still apply to college with 3 year old SAT scores?
I decided not to go to college right out of high school because I wasn't sure what major I wanted to study. I've figured out what I want to study and I'm just looking for colleges now but I realized my SAT scores are about 3 years old (2011). No college I've contacted was really giving me a straight answer, mostly just, "We take a variety of students, so don't let our requirements discourage you from applying!" which isn't helpful. I'll retake the SAT if I have to, but if I don't have to, then I'd rather just go with the scores I've got. Anybody with some experience here know if there's a timeline with which I can use my SAT scores? Thanks so much!
