  • What's wrong with my ankle?

I have weak ankles that sometimes bend to the side when I walk. I think I have hurt my ankle this way. It's been hurting for over two weeks now, although it did feel better last Sunday until I went on the trampoline! There's no swelling just pain to walk and bend.

  • Do my AS grades affect my A-level results?

For health and social (course work) I got a pass this year, next year I want to at least get a merit overall. Does my grade this year make it more difficult to get say a distinction? Also, I think I have U graded psychology and communication and culture. If my sixth form lets me carry them on next year, will the U grades make it harder for me to get a high grade at A-level? It's just I know I did badly - but it's just because I didn't work hard enough, and now I have learnt my lesson and want to get good grades. This is in the UK by the way.

  • How to make my hair healthy again?

I dyed and straightened my hair a lot this year, and now my hair is really brittle and dry with lots of split ends. I can also tell that more hair than normal is falling out - which I'm a bit worried about! So is there a way I can make my hair healthy again? It would also be nice if it would grow a bit longer. By the way - I won't be dying it for a while now, and haven't done so in a few months. Oh and is there a way to strip old hair dye out? It's just my hair is different colours at the moment and I'd rather go back to my natural colour.

  • Why does sex hurt when he first enters?

I've had sex a few times, and it always hurts for a few seconds when he enters, then it starts to feel good. Could this also be something to do with me not getting wet enough? I do really want this, but I can never get wet enough, so we add lube to help. But it's not that I don't get wet at all, just not enough. We have tried LOADS of foreplay and he's licked me out, but nothing works. I'm 17 by the way, this is my first sexual partner.

  • Is my boyfriend using me for sex?

I found out that my boyfriend (we've been together for almost a month) said before we got together that he preferred two of my friends looks/personality over mine. The reason why he asked me out was because he thought he'd have to wait too long to have sex with them. He then said to this person (a few days after we'd been together) that he hopes i 'give into' him soon because his last girlfriend never had sex with him and they were together for seven months.

We have not had sex yet, although before I found out this I was planning on it soon. The thing is, I think I only have sexual feelings for him too. I have some normal 'romantic' feeling starting to appear for him, but they are mainly sexual. What I don't understand is be keeps saying that we can wait as long as I like till I feel comfortable, and he's very insistent on making sure I tell him if he's gone too far.

Should I confront him? Even if I did do you think it's bad to stay in the relationship? Apart from this, everything was going really well.

  • I need some advice on things that have happened between me and my boyfriend?

I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 16, but I'm still a virgin (he isn't). This is my first proper relationship (although we've only been together for almost three weeks, we were friends first)

    1. Yesterday out in public, although there was no one around at the time, he patted me down there. Why was this, what does that mean? We had just been kissing but this happened while we were walking.

    2. He used to be in a bdsm relationship where he was the submissive, is he trying to see if I'm into the whole pain thing? Because while we were making out he started kissing my neck which I liked so he tried a little bite/nibble, then because I seemed to like that he got a bit harder with it. By the end they were really hard bites (this wasn't against my will btw, and he stopped when I asked) also why did I seem to enjoy that? Earlier on he had smacked my **** quite hard, only once though. He also brought up the topic that because I have a horse, I must have whips.

    3. On the bus in the way home we were all cuddled up, then he started rubbing his hand across my stomach and bringing it up, then ended up putting his fingers through the gaps between the buttons on my top and rubbing. Most of the time he would stop and take his hand out and just rest it on me when someone got on the bus, then start again once they were out of the way (we were at the front)

I'm starting to feel that the more he does this stuff, the safer I feel around him for some reason, why is this?

  • Does this count as cheating?

A friend of mine (who has a girl friend) was drunk and was getting very close with me. He kissed me a few times, but it was only on the cheek and head. Then he said he was cold so we ended up under the covers in my bed and we were sort of tangled up together. Does this count as cheating? I don't think he remembers it, so I don't know whether to bother telling him, or just leave it?

  • Should I still full clip a horse that's not in work?

Mt TB is currently on box rest due to an injury, so no work, and no going out in the field. He's very hairy at the moment, so I was wondering if it would be ok to clip it all off? I only want to do this as he really hates being groomed, but I've noticed him getting a bit itchy where his hair is starting to fall out. Is it curl to clip him as he's not even in work? I have rugs to keep him warm.

  • When should I start haying my horse?

I have a ten year old tb, who's just about right at the moment weight wise. I would like to start haying now as there isn't much grass in the field and he does come in hungry every day. But we share our field with another women who has two horses. Her horses are regularly in (a bit too much, I believe) but one of them, another tb is very underweight, as in you can see all his ribs and it probably didn't help she fully clipped him. I like my horse out 24/7 as he's happier, but she told me he looked hungry at the gate this morning when she put hers back in. I suggested haying to her, but she wasn't too keen and said there is enough grass. If there is enough grass why would he be hanging around the gate looking hungry? Should I keep pushing to hay now, or just bring him in every day even though he doesn't particularly like it?

  • How do you break in a horse?

I'm not planning to (any time soon any way!) but I'm interested in finding out how people do it. I have helped out with youngsters at my old riding school, but since getting a horse and moving yards I've learnt so much that my riding school never even did on their youngsters, such as ground work and long reining. I've learnt the basics with my horse but I was wondering what different methods people use to break in their horses rather than how much riding school did it.

  • Ideas while long reining?

I can long rein my horse, but I just wasn't sure what sort of things we could do. At the moment we do basic shapes in the school, and circles (so it looks like we're lunging) and we have gone onto the bridle paths. Is there any thing else we can do, like little jumps or poles?

  • How can I stop my horses one sidedness?

My horse is not as good on the left rein, and now I know its not just me as my instructor was helping me with ground work and told me it was him with the problem not me! So any exercises we could try? I already do carrot stretches?

  • Why does my horse shake his head coming in from the field?

He very rarely does it when ridden, and it might just be his way of having a 'tantrum' as he only does it if he wants to go some where and I say no. But he does it coming in from the field too. But it's not like he doesn't want to come in, as he walks over as soon as he sees me..?

  • My horse doesn't listen when ridden in company on the school?

He fine in the school on his own, but when it come to another horse being in the school too, he just doesn't listen and wants to follow them. But he doesn't do this out hacking, he will go on his own or company and will even go away from the company if I ask him with no problem...so it's just the school. I want to start competing soon so he's going to have to learn!
