  • Why do some people treat their friends as back-up plans?

    I'm sure many of you has had this happen to them: you plan something with a friend and they bail on you at the last minute because "something more fun came up".

    Why do these "friends" pretend that they are interested in spending time with you at all when you are clearly a second, third, umpteenth option?

  • How much do you tip a tailor?

    I've decided to bring some of my pants to a tailor to get them hemmed. Do I tip them 15 - 20 % like a hairdresser, another rate, or is it unnecessary?
