When our decree was written it was 2001. My husband and I get my stepson every 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekends from 6 pm on Friday until 6 pm on Sunday and on Wednesdays during the school year but not during the summer from 6-8 pm. We get certain holidays depending on if it is an odd or even year and we get him for the month of July with the exception of his mother having him for one weekend in July. Is it still the same or have they ammended them? We reside in Texas if that helps.

I would like a resort that is nice and clean and is close to a golf course. We also plan to go Marlin fishing while there. Any suggestions?

even though it is court ordered and we have changed everything with social security and on his birth certificate. What options do we have to try and enforce the use of it? He is 8 and uses our last name at school but then she puts her maiden name (she is married and does not even share the name she uses) on everything else. HELP PLEASE!

My step son is 8 and weighs 97 lbs. When he was with us over the summer we monitered his portions and fed him healthy food instead of junk and he lost 5 lbs. He went back and has gained almost 10 lbs since July. She is not a very receptive person especially if she feels as if we are questioning her parenting, but he needs help before it gets worse. How should we go about this. (She doesn't talk to us unless she needs something so it is very hard to get along with her.)

We are tinkering with the idea of breaking up our one month during the summer into two seperate time frames, but I was wondering if my step son's mother would still get her one weekend like she does when we keep him for a whole month.

My step son's birthday is on Thursday and by the decree we get him from 6-8 on his birthday. Since there is no school on Friday (Heritage Day) and it is our weekend to have him by the decree we get to keep him because the holiday preceeds our weekend. She is saying that since we have possession of him then she gets to keep him from 6-8 on his birthday. We can not get it through her head that we don't have possession because we can not pick him up from her legally until 6 for the weekend anyway. I don't know what to do she is just absolutely evil. Are we wrong? Because if she was to have possession of him she would have to pick him up from our house which she can't because he is already at her house.

My step son's mother is constantly breaking the rules of their court decree. She thinks she doesn't have to answer to anybody. What can we do to enforce the decree?
