my therapist is a very nice woman, shes now on maternity leave for less than a week and its gonna be 3 to 4 weeks before i see her shes been kind enough to do phone sessions with me however im missing her strong attachment.

I have a great therapist ive been seeing for a long time now, (over 6 months), shes nice caring like a big sister, I also have a crush on her i will say this hasnt interfered in my therapy if i tell her of my crush im a bit concerned shell stop seeing me. Thoughts?

Im male, my therapist is a kind nice gentle non-judgmental woman i thought it was a bit inconsiderate that she said to me she didnt like how all therapists were men in the early days of psychoanalysis, we texted she said i was just trying to share a fact about how early psychoanalysis was and that it was sexist few men women were part of the profession i wasnt trying to invalidate feelings. I said i know you werent but i was talking about my feelings, i was aware it was like that back then, i just dont wanna hear about it anymore. Thoughts?

My therapist is very kind gentle and non-judgemental however she said to me and im a man that it was all men in the early days of therapy more than once. we texted about it she said she was just saying how it was like that sexist towards women cause there were mostly men therapists and women werent allowed i said i felt that was self absored
