MS Word - Creating text only visible on-screen?
Is it possible to create a text-box in word that has text inside that is only visible on-screen... therefore, when the document is printed the text box is empty?

3 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoSony Walkman - Trapped files?
I have a Sony Walkman (20gb model) which I bought a year or two back. I transferred my music collection onto it (a variety of ripped CD's & downloaded files) and now I find I've no way of taking those songs off the Walkman and converting them back into a format that Windows Media player and other generic MP3 players can play. It's almost like the Walkman is holding them hostage with some kind of twisted copyright security logic; encasing them in a format that Sony has now ditched. I've previously tried the MP3 conversion tool that their website provides, however it's only converted the 4 most recent albums I added to it, ignoring the 2800 other tracks it has on it's hard drive. Does anyone know how I can have what's rightfully mine? Or has Sony screwed me out of my music collection?

Hi
I'm having difficulty completing this challenge. I've tried jumping/firing, falling/firing, and everything else and I can't seem to figure out what the game wants me to do to pass this.
Does anyone have any advice?
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoGiving away money... What's the Law in the UK?
Does anyone know what UK Law says about giving away money?
Basically, my Gran lives in a house on her own and if she were to go into a nursing home in the future, the government would sell the house and use the money to pay for it. Is there a legal way of making my Gran "poor" so that if she ever has to go into a home (I pray to God she doesn't) the government would have to fund it instead of using her money? I'd appreciate some advice on what she can and can't do.
Thanks.
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoBuying a PS3 in the US for use in the UK?
I just read this question posted a few months back (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsxYH... which answers almost everything I need to know. Region-free games are a god-send, and the movie thing doesn't bother me. What I'm most concerned about is the power conversion. A long time ago I bought a Gamecube in Canada, stuck it in over here almost electrocuted myself. Luckily the GC was in tact (I was alright too, by the way), so I bought a UK GC power cable and it worked fine. My question is: What do I need to safely power an NTSC PS3 in the UK? An explanation in layman's terms would be appreciated. And I definitely want one from the US, as they're much better value there than here. Thank you very much in advance.

9 AnswersOrlando1 decade agoA book about dreams/dream interpretation?
I'm considering a christmas gift for a family member and wonder if anyone know of any accessible (not too dumb, not too complicated) books about dreams or interpreting them. I'm not looking for one on a specific type of interpretation (Christian, Buddist, etc), but rather a general book about why we dream, basic interpretation and so on. Imagine an "A Brief History Of Time" equivalent for dreams, and you'll get what I'm looking for.
Thank you.

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoUK Citizen wanting to work in Canada?
I've been to the websites, phoned the numbers... I'm hoping someone knows something that the "Officials" can't tell me. Basically, I'd like to simply move to and work in Canada. Yes, I have somewhere to live. No, I have no job to go to. How doable is this in your honest opinion?

In a nutshell: If I have an NTSC capable TV and am happy to only buy region 1 games and DVD's, would the power conversion be my only problem? How do I prevent blowing myself up? What is it I need to purchase?
