Stopping breastfeeding, starting formula?
I have an 8 week old son. In 2 months I will be returning to work and I will need to stop breastfeeding before that time. I am hoping that someone can tell me the best way to make the transition from breastfeeding to formula feeding (both for me and my son). I can't keep breastfeeding and working because I have MS and the medication that I need to go back on cannot be taken while you are breastfeeding.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago17 weeks pregnant with my first - a bit of hard belly in some places but not in others, normal?
HI all. This is my first question on here. My belly is hard from about half an inch below my belly button and continues the hardness for about 2-3 inches down. However below that, so the space between by pelvic bone and the hard spot, there really isn't a hard spot. Is it normal to have a space of not so much hardness? I should say that I am overweight and have belly fat, so this might have something to do with it. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this "hard in some spots above, and not so much in lower spots" issue. Thanks for any answers
9 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago15 weeks pregnant, but can't tell?!?
Hi All. I am hoping that someone has had the same experience as me. I am 15 weeks pregnant now (in my 15th week) and to look at me you can't tell that I am pregnant. I am overweight, so that could have something to do with it, but I really can't tell physically that I am pregnant. Now that I am in the second trimester, the few symptoms that I had in the first are pretty much gone (just sore breasts a bit).
It is really worrying me that no one else can tell that I am pregnant. I can't even really feel the uterus when I lay on the bed and try to feel it. I know that many people have said on here that sometimes with first pregnancies you can't see for a while, but does that mean you really can't tell AT ALL?
Help would be much appreciated. As a first time pregnant woman, I am probably just worrying, I just want to feel better. Oh, and on my last Dr visit (13 weeks) the doc used the Doppler but said the baby must be hiding because she couldn't hear the heartbeat.
8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago13 weeks pregnant, breast tenderness is less?
Just wondering if there is anyone else that has experienced this. I am at 12weeks 7 days (the last day before week 13 starts) and this morning I woke up with breasts that are less tender than they were yesterday.
I had no other symptoms, so can't really say if anything else has changed. I have a little more energy though.
