So right now I am in my school library and it is my study hall time, so I am aloud to be on here right now. When a mother is pregnant with a child and she takes part in smoking and drinking, could her child come out as mentally retarded and it takes about 17 years to fully know that the child is retarded?

I am a senior in HS and I am going to be tested for an IEP and that deals with special ed.The school has known about this since my 10th grade year, but they failed to act upon it right away....My sister is 20 years old and when she was labeled mentally retarded and has the mentality of a 12 year old when she was 18 years old. Through out grade school and her up bringing, she was like any normal kid, but it slowly progressed into her not understanding things and it got so bad to the point where they had to do testing. Now, it is the same for me...I was fine through out grade school and now, I am starting to do poorly. My friends and even my boyfriend are noticing it now and they sometimes make jokes about it too. It hurts my feelings..

It was about 3 weeks ago when I lost my virginity to someone and I think I have an STD from them. I have always had problems down there Since i started shaving down there. I get ingrown hairs sometimes and my gyn even confirmed that I'm sensitive down there.
