I am a beginner and have never bought an air pistol before and so I come here seeking the wisdom of all of you experts!!

I am after an air pistol which:

- Has blow-back action

- Shoots steel BB's

- Is all metal (incl. mag) - or as close as possible

- Can be fully field striped

- Has a see through chamber

- Is UK Legal

- Can be purchased online for delivery to my door

- Has a rail

- Is realistic

The one I like the most from what I have found so far is the Umarex Colt CQBP M45 Rail:

Is there anything similar (with the same features above) but more powerful?

I want it primarily for target shooting at a local club but if it could be used to kill a rat, that would be a bonus!! :)

Could someone please give me web links to purchase a gun in accordance to the specifics below?

MUST:

- A gun (any variety) powerful enough to kill a rat from a distance of 10 meters.

- I live in the UK & I don't have a license of any sort. So therefore I shouldn't need to jump through any hoops in order to get it. I just want to buy online and have it delivered.

- I would like the cheapest one available.

Preferences (but not necessary):

- I would like something that looks good (realistic maybe?)

- Would prefer a pistol with some sort of sight (red-dot maybe?)

- If a pistol is not cheap or unsuitable, a rifle with some sort of scope?

- Maybe one with a case?

The above image is of the housing.

Whilst removing the old housing, the bolt on the top left of the housing (in accordance with the photo) snapped. It's stuck in the engine.

I was wondering what impact it would have if I did not remove and replace the broken bolt.

i.e. left that part of the housing unsecured when replacing it with the new one.

Pretty urgent so a quick reply will get the best answer!

I'm looking for an old court case I have a personal interest in. It was conducted in a crown court in England around 40 years ago. It wasn't high profile or precedent worthy (so I very much doubt it's case law) and I don't think it would be available in any law reports. Any idea how or where I could find this?

I have an Asrock 775i65G Motherboard cooled via a Corsair H40 liquid cooling system.

The PC has 2GB of ram (2 x 1GB) and an AGP Nvidia Graphics card.

Originally the PC had an Intel Celeron D 326 CPU (from many years ago) but fancied something a bit speedier as I've decided to make good use of it so I bought an Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 955.

Fitted fine, boots and posts... but this is where the problem begins..

Upon booting I can either continue by pressing:

a) F1 and loading default settings; or

b) F2 to go into setup.

If I select option a):

All boots up fine albeit with the wrong date and time in windows.

However if I restart or shutdown, the computer will not post.

I have to clear CMOS to boot again

If I select option b):

I've tried loading optimal settings, save and exit - will not post

I have to clear CMOS to boot again

If I discard settings and exit, it follows the procedure of option A

The processor is supposed to run at 3.46Ghz but when it does post, it is running at 3.2Ghz

(Multiplier is at the minimum of 12 x 266 bus speed)

HELP!!

I bought the processor and cooling kit to overclock the processor and if I can't save a single setting without it failing to post then it defeats the object of investing in the machine :(

I watched a movie when i was younger on channel 5 (uk) about some stone that comes from outer space and this guy picks it up and becomes infected or something and the whole human race (nearly) turns into these things and at the end of the movie the mother ship comes or something and his skin peeled off. It was shown in two parts over two days and the title defo had an 'M' in it somewhere. I know that isn't much help but I would appreciate it if ANYONE knows this movie lol

Hi, my car at first was blowing very hot air (even on cold option) so I did a little net search and realised it was the heater control valve - Replaced. Now it only blows cold air! Replaced the resistor in the passenger foot well and i am now at a loss to what it might be! any ideas? Thanks in advance to those who answer!
