Adobe CS6 YouTube video quality?
Alright, so I'm new to the whole video production and media thing. My question is on Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, it gives you the option to make the video/segment in 4K quality, which is the best quality out right now. If this is the case, then why doesn't everyone upload videos in 4K or some other HD quality rather than leaving it at something like 480p?
1 AnswerYouTube7 years agoWhy is FOX News recognized as a legitimate news station?
Dear God... I have literally no idea how to express this thought in words. So, I've been researching the topic of the connection between video games and violence (It started with me clicking on a few random YouTube videos and now it's turned into a whole thing), and I've noticed that FOX News has quite a bit to say on the matter. Now, I know, like many other news stations, that FOX News has a bias towards Republican Right-Wing Conservatism. However, watching their interviews has really revealed to me that their bias is literally comedic. Just to clarify, I don't have any affiliation with any of the two major political parties, as both have tremendous flaws, I prefer reason. But anyways, I've noticed in a lot of their interviews (I'm not sure if they're actually interviews. I'm referring to their segments where a topic is presented and there are two guest speakers, one usually representing a Republican view and one representing a different perspective, not necessarily Democratic in all cases. I believe "debate" is a better term) that..
a. The segments last for only a few minutes.
b. The anchor will, prior to the segment, say something like, "Joining us today is [insert name of debater] and [insert name of other debater] for a fair and balanced debate on [insert topic/story].
The significance of "b." is the fact that the FOX anchor will drastically favour the argument presented by the Republican side, whereas the opposing side's representative will be interrupted and cut short not only by the Republican side, but by the anchor! Now, it is my belief that if your job is to broadcast news and information to people (news anchor, teacher, reporter) keeping your personal beliefs to yourself and not letting them impact your work is the professional choice. Of course, it is understandable to occasionally cater to a certain group or affiliation for some reasons, but what FOX does literally makes me sick to my stomach. I've seen segments where the two debaters will be displayed in their respective on-screen boxes in a debate, when the anchor will explode on screen in their box, directly between the two of the debaters, greatly overpowering the size of either, and start defending the Republican debater, or attacking the other debater. To me, that is an utterly inexcusable display of unprofessional behaviour and, had it been up to me, I would have fired the anchor immediately afterwards. This would also apply had the situation been reversed where a Republican debater was being attacked and the other side was being defended by the anchor.
It truly seems to me as though FOX is trying to give themselves a bad reputation by stressing how "fair and balanced" a debate will be, only to follow up by blatantly showing a bias to one side so consistently. What's worse is that people actually watch this, my parents are an example. I had a conversation as to why they did. I asked my mom why she watched it, as it was clearly biased. She said she knows and that's why it's so appealing to her, as she is Republican. I'm not sure if I just have weird beliefs or something, but I watch news to gather information and use that information combined with my reasoning and judgement skills to determine the effectiveness of a person/group, not to to have my views validated by a bias source. I looked up FOX News statistics, ratings, etc. and I am astounded by the amount of people who watch this. It's really discouraging to be quite honest. I just want someone here to tell me if I'm missing something as to why it's so popular and watched by so many people.
Also, I mean no disrespect to those of you who are reading this and happen to watch FOX. Just because I disagree with your choice to do so doesn't mean I don't respect your input or intellectual capabilities. I hope we all share this view at the least so we can have a civilized and reasonable exchange of views, not insulting each other because our interpretations of what we think is right clash.
