Anyone still doubt Obama was born in Hawaii?
Of all the silly lies going around about Obama, take a look at the following links if you care about the truth.

or for his actual birth certificate:
20 AnswersElections1 decade agoHow disrespectful was McCain last night?
He shows a great lack of etiquette when ever he referred to Obama. He never called him senator and at one point called him "that one" and pointed.
Had Obama done this he would be bashed for showing a lack of respect to the senior senator.
McCain was just plain rude last night. What do you think?
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoIn the debate did Palin answer any questions?
It seemed like she was just going straight to talking points and not actually answering many questions. It was as if she would look at her notes and then give the most appropriate pre-written comment. I know Biden did some of that too, when the topic was politically hot. But even on the simple questions Palin did not address it.
What question did Palin answer?
43 AnswersElections1 decade agoWith the average life expectancy for a U.S. Male 75 years was Palin the right choice?
McCain's age (72) is a factor and if something happens to him (heaven forbid), Palin would be president. She is a complete unknown to Americans, does not have much experience. Does this hurt McCain's chances?
I realize Obama does not have much experience, but at least America has gotten to know him over the past 18 months and know what he stands for and how he thinks. No one knows anything about Palin. Will Americans learn enough in the next 3 months to accept her as potentially our President?
2 AnswersElections1 decade agoWho said this about the Iraq war in 2002?
"He's a bad guy," referring to Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. "The world, and the Iraqi people, would be better off without him. But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history."
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDoes John McCain understand the concerns of the middle class?
How can he pretend to understand the issues that the majority of Americans are dealing with if he forgets how many homes he has? How can he claim Obama is an elitist?
10 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs drilling offshore and in ANWR only a political issue?
If ANWR and the continental shelf were online, right now, we would save about 3 cents at the pump. Is that worth it to you? Seems like this is really not the problem and is being used as a political issue for the election.
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWill Obama raise my taxes?
My wife and I have a combined earnings of about $80k/year, we have one child. What will my taxes do under Obama versus McCain?
I keep reading on Y!A that Obama will raise my taxes, from what I understand taxes will only go up, under Obama for those making more than $250K.
Non answer rants, with no relevant information will be reported as such. I am looking for informative answers and discussion not uninformed opinnion.
25 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes McCain want Carl Rove as his VP?
I have heard that he want Rove as his VP, why would he want to do that if he has any hope of seperating himself from Bush?
3 AnswersElections1 decade agoHillary supporters, was there sexism?
I keep hearing about it in the media, but do not know what they are referring to, could someone give me an example that was used against her?
No one said that she was where she was because of her gender, I heard the opposite about Obama from Ferraro and others or that if it were not for affirmative action he would not be where he is, comments that I feel are racist. But could someone give a similar example of how sexism was used against Hillary?
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDid you know that 50% of Americans working in Iraq are private contractors?
Many of these contractors are doing the work that normally would be accomplished by our armed services. These companies (haliburton, blackwater, etc) are being paid for by our taxes, and the contracts have been awarded with non-competitive bids (ie. corporations do not have to compete on a cost basis for the job). Do you think this is cost effective or is it more expensive?
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow is McCain different from Bush?
I am trying to see through all the spin, but how would McCain be different than Bush on the major issues (war, terrorism, ecomony, border security)?
25 AnswersElections1 decade agoWill super-delegates disenfranchise democratic voters?
The disenfranchising of FL and MI voters was bad enough, and neither of the candidates fault. But the only way for Hillary to win, is for the superdelegates to vote for her against the will of the majority of democratic voters (unless a major turnaround, which is unlikely). Would this have the de facto result of disenfranchising everyone who has voted in the democratic primaries and caucuses? So is Hillary being insincere about her concern with FL and MI, with her argument that the both the pledged and superdelegates should vote for her?
I have asked this question before but someone reported it????
10 AnswersElections1 decade agoHow much does Clinton need to win by in PA to stay in the race?
We all know she will win in PA, it would be a shock if she lost. Two weeks ago she was leading in the polls by 20 pts, now her lead is down to about 12 pts. How much must she win by to justify continuing?
And I do realize how accurate polling has been this election cycle (not very).
16 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat would prevent campaigns from buying super delegates?
What would stop the Clinton or Obama camps from bribing super delegates to vote for them? Seems like promises of administration positions or some nice pork projects could sway some super delegates to "sell" their vote.
