  • Have a question about my Chevy?

Hello. I just bought a V4 2004 Chevy malibu classic about a month ago. The problem I'm having is that whenever I'm stopping the car at a stop light, the temperature of the car would increase very slowly and when I'm driving again, it will decrease to just below the midpoint and will stay there until I stop again at a stop light. I have been checking the coolant in the car and it is full. Could this be a thermostat problem or is it something else?

Will stop when I'm at a stop sign or at a red light. Is this going to be a big fix for me? Will it cause any problems for the battery? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
