2 AnswersChemistry5 years agoWhat do order and degree mean in a differential equation? Please answer as quick as you can as this is urgent D:?
Also, what're the order and degree of:
case 1:
sin(dy/dx) = xy + x + y
case 2:
dy/dx = arcsin(xy+x+y)
case 3:
tan(dy/dx) = xy + x + y
case 4:
dy/dx = arctan(xy+x+y)

2 AnswersChemistry6 years agoHow is the seniority table in organic chemistry prepared? Actually, what logic is used in making the table? Is it just a random collection?!?
Please explain the question with some examples... this is really annoying I can't live without knowing the logic of this table. The table meaning the seniority table where the functional groups are in order:
-SO3H,-COOH,-COOR,-COOX,-COONH2,-CHO,-CN,>CO,-OH,-SH,-NH2,>C=C<, -C≡C-, -X,-NO2,-NO,-O-,-R... I am beginning to suspect that it depends oin charge separation or something...
2 AnswersChemistry6 years agoI need a help in the following EMI question.?
There is a closed ring immersed in a uniform magnetic field. It's plane is perpendicular to the magnetic field. The magnetic field is inwards. A metal rod is attatched to the centre and to the perifery of the circle and is rotated about the centre (fixed) with an angular frequency w. Now, induction takes place as the electrons tend to drift away but due to the centre becoming posetive the electrons are held back, there will be instantaneous current and then, the state becomes steady. Now, there will be an emf produced between the centre and the periferry. Now, answer the following:
1) Define induced current and induced emf.
2) Is electrical induction possible? (independently)
3) Is magnetic induction possible?(independently)
4) Define electromagnetic induction.
5) What kind of induction is shown above in the circle-rod system?
1 AnswerPhysics6 years agoShow that normal to at any point θ to the curve: x = acosθ +aθsinθ y = asinθ - aθcosθ is at a constant distance from the origin.?
DO NOT SOLVE THIS QUESTION.
Please, tell me how questions like this are made.
Begin by trying to explain how questions like the above are made.
Let me tell you this, the perpendicular distance from origin is a in the above problem. So, how in the world was this question constructed?!! there MUST be an application on the above curve OR there might be a result from which the question has been constructed smartly.
Basically my question here is:
How is the above question and other questions like the one above constructed?
1 AnswerMathematics6 years agowhat is the importance of x = acosθ +bsinθ y = asinθ - bcosθ and x = acosθ +aθsinθ y = asinθ - aθcosθ 'cause I have seen this many times.?
I want to know the significance of these curves (if there are any).

Why doesn't a bar magnet experience force/torque due to its own magnetic and electric field?
and, at the same time, how can a part of a conductor experience a force due to a part in the conductor itself?

Justify with proper reasoning that the reducing character of hydrides DOES NOT decrease down the group.
