  • How can you tell if a llama is bred?

    I am an experienced horse person but have no experience with llamas. My wife brought 2 female llamas a couple of months ago. We were told that they had been exposed to a male and could be bred.

    Do they show any signs just before birth? How soon before birth do they start producing milk?

    Any experience would be helpful.
