IRON CURTAIN

My windows 7 icons are messed up. They are still all there, but they have a default windows box placed over top of them. The white box has a smaller white box inside of it with red, blue, and green shaped icons. This randomly happened for no reason and it is driving me insane.

I have an HP Pavilion DV6, running windows 7. Also, I have to LCD monitors I wish to connect to it. I know I cannot have the laptop screen AND the 2 monitors, so I closed the laptop lid and now I have only my 2 monitors (Connected with a VGA splitter). They can only duplicate the screen and the computer does not recognize that I have two separate monitors connected. How d oI creat two separate work spaces on these monitors?

Plugged into my HP Pavilion DV6 laptop are a set of external speakers. Those work fine and I have no problem with them. Also connected to my laptop is an external monitor, and on that monitor is an audio jack. I have another set of external speakers plugged into that but I cannot get them to emit any sound. The volume on the monitor is turned all the way up. Help!

OSU is ranked 12th! USC only dropped to 9 after osing TO AN UNRANKED OPPENENT. OSU has been winning like mad since their loss, and have only moved 1 or 2 spots up the rankings.
