I am a community college student and am going to apply for transfer this fall with mechanical engineering as my intended major. Only trouble I am having is i don't have anything to write in the sections relating to work experience, community service, awards and honors and extra curricular activities. I want to transfer to UC Beerkeley. what can i do to fill these sections up ? I am starting volunteer work at an animal shelter next week. Still what do i do about the sections on work experience, awards and honors and extra curricular activities ?? Please help only have two months of summer left to increase my chances of getting in.

so i am living in US right now and have a green card with me

the problem is that i received my green card when i was 11- 12 years old..

someone told me i have to renew it before traveling outside of country

i am 18 right now.... i read online you have to apply online as soon as you get over 16 years of age will it cause any problems because of my current age ??

also my green card expires in 2016 so do i need to renew it before traveling ?

is the amount of time i have been outside of US any factor in renewal service ??

i just started my job at Walgreens 3 months ago.. last friday i told my manager that i can't be here on thanksgiving weekend as i have to go out of town.. and to change my schedule..

He said i cannot do it as the store manager has made it and to tell her to change it..

but she isn't here on weekends so left a note there at the schedule saying i would not be able to come this weekend..

Today i got a call from the store manager and she said that i didn't tell her and she would give me a write up if i don't show up... but i had already told two managers there on friday and saturday that i couldn't be there.. according to her she has to be informed 1 week before and i guess i week before thanksgiving friday is friday.. its not my mistake she isn't here on weekends and i only work on weekends.. what do i do do i just take this silently.. and take my first write up and try to bend myself according to her ? cause friday is comming up and cannot be there.

I just moved to Berkeley from southern California and was having difficulty finding a doctor who accepts medi-cal. I have a BIC card with me Do i need anything else ?

i like both but have a little bit of a bend towards ME the problem is that i just heard that job opportunities in CE are far more than ME and it is a safer option.

I still haven't started my college i'm starting in august so i can choose either right ?

i have no knowledge in either fields yet. ( i don't know anything about java or c++ or designing stuff )

i am bad at drawing and have no idea if would be able to design stuff

i like to know about technologies ( ios and android in mobiles , windows 8 etc. ) and knowing the workings of devices like how a engine of a car works etc.

i am currently going to Berkeley city college and thinking to get transfer to a good university like MIT or Berkeley school of engineering etc. after 2 years, and wanted to know if giving sat really important ?

if yes how time is required to prepare? and how many tests (sat 1 , sat 2 ) do i have to give ?

I am thinking of doing computer engineering.

So i am getting admission to Berkeley city college ( in Berkeley ) in august ,and i just wanted to know if it is a good enough community college to get a transfer into a good university ( some of the names mentioned above ) after 2 years.

and also i am yet to give my sat's so what is score i would require in sat 1 & sat 2 math level 1 & 2 , sat2 physics ?

my son has turned 17 but he hasn't renewed his green card ( he doesn't have one with fingerprint ) he now want to travel out US can he do so it's only for six months ?

my son got his green card before he was 14 ( i don;t remember the exact age )

right now he is India and is of 17 years

he wants to go to U.S. but his green card is not renewed after turning 14.... and i just heard that your green card is not valid after you have turned more than 14

his green car expires in 2016...

any solution about how to get his green card renewed before traveling or can i just let him travel and get his green card renewed after reaching there
