I've had this laptop for a little over a year now, Asus Notebook U52F series, and i've experienced the inconvenience of being disconnected from the internet over the last year. It was a rare occurrence and i'd merely troubleshoot the problem and restart my wifi adapters. Just recently, they've started disappearing altogether. When I look under Device manager and network adapters, the only adapters there are for LAN plug-ins, the wifi adapters just disappear. The only way I can get those adapters back (to my knowledge) is using the system restore tool. This always gets them back, but the problem has been extremely frequent this past week. More so than the past year. The only suspicion I have of interference with the driver is the update of 7/12 for windows 7. Each time i'd let my laptop restart and update (since i'd restore the system to pre-update status) it'd make the wifi adapters disappear. It's been fine since, but now they've disappeared again and i had to perform system recovery once again. Please help

If you could let me know how and why this is happening and how i can prevent it from happening, it'd be amazing. Thanks.
