Sick Dog...?
My friend has a dog that is about a 1 1/2 years old. She got him as a puppy and he is not a purebred. When she got him he had kennel cough and has never eaten well. She has always kept him current with vaccines and takes him to the vet frequently. He basically has been ill since birth with not eating much and having constant diarrhea. She just contacted me and told me that she is faced with the decision of having him put to sleep. Her vet told her that she didn't feel there was anything that could be done and that she suggested that putting him down be considered. I am just throwing this out here to you guys to get your opinions. Has anyone ever had or heard of a dog doing this? Should she seek the advice of another vet or just give up? She is dying over this and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
8 AnswersDogs1 decade agoAnother question about dog flatulence?
I am in the process of switching from Nutro to Innova Evo and she is doing the same thing with the horrible flatulence. Will this stop when she gets completely switched over?
