I'm 17. practically an alcoholic. i smoke, get high almost everyday.. it makes me numb and makes me feel better. but its slowly killing me. i cant talk to my parents because they're incredibly stoic. and all my friends are just as screwed up as me. people say i'm clever but i dont see it. i play music a lot and people say i'm good at that too but again, i dont really see it. I'm not deprresed, and have no mental or physical problems that i know of.. is there anyone else out there that has been in my situation? any advice for me?

My friend gets really cut at the smallest things. and he says all this stuff to hurt me and whenever i reply to stick up for myself or to retaliate he gets even more cut it just keeps going round in circles.. for instance, we would be going out, and hed be all like i dont want to and keep making excuses. and then i;d be like, "come on dont be tight" then he said "stop telling me what to do" and get real cut.. how do i tell him that hes too sensitive without getting into it again?
