Why are certain animals exempt from being eaten in some countries?
No, I do not want to eat dogs or cats, but consider this:
Most Americans only eat a select few of animals, like chicken, cows, and pigs, which they mass produce and slaughter, but it is taboo and against the law to eat certain others.
When Americans hear about people in other countries eating bugs, dogs, etc, they freak out, while in other countries, some of the food Americans enjoy are taboo or looked at as disgusting.
So back to my question. Why are some animals like dogs exempt from being slaughtered and eaten like cows? I know part of the reason is because some are domesticated and religion, but don't you see the hypocrisy? What's up with the double standard? 🤔
Think deeper than, "Oh, dogs are intelligent." Sure they are, but other animals can be trained to do the same things some dogs specialize in.

2 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups4 years agoWhy do people call black people African American?
I'm black and I'm annoyed asf by that. Sure I live in the U.S. and like it here but I am not American. I'm from Jamaica and so are my parents and their parents too. People need to wake tf up and realize that African American is not the correct term because not all blacks are American.
13 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups6 years agoWhy does everyone always assume I'm stupid?
Adults are always giving me weird looks and smiling at me like I am stupid and asking me the most stupid unnecessary questions like I am an idiot. I get good grades but not in math well no one really gets good grades in math anyway. Kids my age also look at me weird too. I don't have much friends and and I'm kinda shy and awkward but I guess people just take that as something being wrong with me. Once, in 6th grade a few seconds after meeting a girl she asked if I had autism, but we were both the smartest in the class so I don't understand why people always assume I'm stupid
3 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoI have no friends?
Im a 14 yr old girl and i have no friends and i have never actually had any. The only reason i have ever had friends was because my mother always taught at the school I went to so of course a lot of people knew who i was. Now that she doesnt and i go to a way bigger school i literally have 0 friends. Its not that im shy, i just talk to people more if i actaully know them but i only know one person because i went to a school no one really knows about, so i will never make friends and its almost the end of the school year. Even worse, I live in florida and may go to indiana where i definitely dont know anyone. The only friend i kind of have i can tell she probably doesnt like me and thinks im stupid or something. The last time i actually had a friend was in 7th grade but now there at different schools.
Buutttt who needs people when you have the internet... Right?
3 AnswersFriends6 years agoWhat do these symptoms mean?
I am a 14 yr old girl and yesterday i had diarrhea and my neck was itching. Today when i woke up, my eyelids were hurting, then when i went to school I was extremely cold, and my head hurts really badly for no reason and now my eyes hurt. I looked up some of those and they said that's symptoms for some thyroid related infection or disease and i already have a cold so is this like a serious illness or something?
2 AnswersOther - Diseases6 years agoFriend Randomly Stopped Talking To Me?
Im in 9th grade and i dont have much friends. I met some girl that was in three of my classes but we mainly talked in one of them cause we sat next to each other in the third one. We always talked to each other in the beginning of the year and the last time i ever spoke to her was december 17 i think, right before winter break. in January when everyone came back she was sitting on the other side of the room with her other friends who i didnt really know. We never argued or anything so idk. she doesnt make eye contact with me or anything like i dont even exsist. Even though this happened months ago and i made some other friends, it still hurts and idk what i did.
