1 it shows windows did not close properly and can be started in safe mode but does not start normally. it starts showing blank screen. I have to restart god knows how many times or reboot.

2 i have restarted taking out power cord connected to cpu after turning off the computer as someone had told might be slight problem in power supply.

3 in safe mode i did use system restore to some earlier date as it worked few times

4 i am sick and tired of calling off computer repairmen who comes every 2-3 months and does xp reinstall.he comes 2-3 days after being called .

5 last time he left xp cd with me only but i do not know how to use it or where is the key may be written in cd itself.i have xp pack 3 edition and i think its pirated.

6 my cd drive is not visible on my computer

7 i do not know why but i have made 2 profiles earlier one administrator and other guest. i work on guest but cd drive is not visible on both.. drive works because nero express cd was in the drive and when today pc did not start i put in xp cd.cd ran and for short period it came press any key to directly boot from cd.

8 i use brodband heavily but hardly ever surf any harmful or useless sites. its mostly facebook, mail or official sites work related. i have trial version of quickheal installed which i run on regular basis. i have cc cleaner which i run regularly. i use mozilla and delete cookies or past history on regular basis.

CPU use to shut suddenly. i use to turn off ups and start computer again it worked but problem started occurring frequently.yesterday did not start.use to start and close before windows screen came.instead of vertically placed horizontally on floor working. fan looks bit loose. lot of dust removed to some extent yesterday.fan used to make noise earlier also but subside after few minutes.

repaired windows yesterday.
