Last week I went to visit a friend from Pleasant Grove, CA..... And as usual I packed some bread to feed the bluegills in his backyard. There is a creek that flows through his backyard & it is full of minnows & bluegills. Down the creek about 20 yards away I noticed a large white object moving. So I went closer to see what it was & it turned out to be a white snake. I told everyone about it & they all told me that it is a "California Kingsnake." But the ones I seen on 'Google Images" are small with stripes. And the one I saw at the creek was pure white & about 10 feet long. It was only about 3 or 4 inches wide, but it was about 10 feet long. Do any of you know of such a snake like that here in California? Or could this be one of weird inbreed snakes? Every one I told & every website I visit all said it is a "California Kingsnake".

Anyone ever use these gun adapters. I saw some videos about these adapters & guys shooting .38 & .357 bullets from a 20 gauge. But I wanna hear from people who have experience with these Short Lane adapters. Are these good to use? How reliable & how accurate is it?

The doctor says that I got high blood pressure, due to excessive soda drinking. He tells me that high blood pressure causes heart attack & stroke. And usually people feel fine until it's too late.

So is there any way to work around this? What if I quit drinking the regular sodas & start with diet or caffeine free soda? Is this still gonna make me have high blood pressure?

While target shooting yesterday, I noticed some white residue on the tree stump. When I started shooting at the 2 inch thick board, I noticed some residue on the board to. So I cut open one of the buckshot shells. Inside the shell with the #3 buckshots were some white powder, almost like salt mixed in with the shots. What is the purpose of putting that into a shotshell?

Today I was cleaning out the garage. I found a couple cases of my old hunting clothes. Everything was camo color from shirts, socks, hats, pants, jackets, gloves & even some camo bandanas. I know it's a lot easier to just buy a ghillie suit. But since I had some time on my hands & all these unwanted supplies, I decided to make a ghillie suit. It turned okay I guess.

Anyone else ever tried to make one? How did it turn out?

A couple years ago, my uncle & his friend & I went hunting. We each have our own favorite spot & so when we got there, we separated & went our own ways. The plan was to meet back at the car before sundown. Well, before sundown my uncle & I met on the trail & we both headed back towards the car. When we got there, the car was gone & his friend was nowhere to be found. It was now getting dark & we had no flashlight so we decided to just wait. We sat there & waited until dawn & he never came back. So we hiked 2 1/2 hours back to the main road & then another 30 minutes back into town so that we can get cell service. As it turns out, this idiot said that he spotted a brown bear & then the brown bear was trying to attack him. So he got into the car & left. But even so, he could have came back to pick us up when the coast was clear. Instead he left us behind & went home. My brother ended up coming to pick up my uncle & I. But ever since that day, we don't hunt or fish with him anymore.

Anybody have experience with the Federal 20-gauge shotshell with the Barnes Tipped Expander? Federal lists the muzzle velocity at an impressive 1,900 fps from a 30-inch test barrel. I was reading an article about how a guy shot a deer at 100 yards (300 feet) & dropped it dead in it's tracks.

I was looking at some of my shot shells. All the slugs, buckshots & .4 shot are all 2 3/4. But it's got different length brass head. Does the length of the brass head matter in the power of these shells? A longer brass head probably means that the shells shoots at a faster FPS right? I mostly use these shells in my 20 gauge single shot & it all feels the same to me.

I recently bought a 5 pack of Federal 2 3/4 inch 000buckshots & a 5 pack Of Federal 2 3/4 inch 1oz. slugs. But these shells look different then the ones I used a couple years ago, same brand & size. Is there a brand that is better then Federal?

Last November my uncle told me that he & a friend went hunting & he came home with 2 very large quails. He said that those were the biggest ones he ever seen, light brown with black & white stripes. And he said that the 2 quails he shot were bigger then Crown Pigeons. The way he described it, sounds more like a Chukar then a quail. I been hunting a long time & I never seen a quail like that. Are there any species of quail in California that is as big or bigger then Crown Pigeons?

People say that its bad to dry fire a gun. WHY?

My uncle had an old hunting video where the guys were hunting with bows. And one guy even took down a black bear. If I was gonna hunt deers & bears, what would be the best pound draw to use? Would a 20lb draw weight get the job done? Or would I need something stronger?

Which one of these has more stopping power? Would I be okay in using any of these to hunt deer or bears?

I was just wondering if I can take down a bear, if I was to shoot it with a 20 Gauge slug? Would it depends on where I hit it?

Anyone have a tattoo that reminds them of something bad in the past. I mean most people wouldn't put something like that on their bodies. But I was just wondering if anyone did have one? I have the date 7/9/07 tattoed on my arm to remind me of some messed up sh*t from the past. Its a reminder, so that I don't freaken fall for that crap again.

Anybody ever watch this show. Do you think there are really groups of people out there who can really do stuff like that?

I always wondered how would a ballistic test be performed on pellets from a shotshell. Because there are lots of different types of shells with different sized pellets that can be shot from the same shotgun. You see shows like CSI New York perform ballistic testing on bullets all the time, but never on pellets?

Sometimes when watching movies, you see people flying to different places in the world. And then you hear other people saying how they were still "jet lagged". I always wondered what does that mean?

Anybody ever play Fantasy 5 or Daily 3? Those are the ones I usually play. But I only play about 3 or 4 times a month just for fun. The most I ever got out out of Fantasy 5 were two numbers right, which is a free replay. The closet I got on Daily 3 were numbers 180 & the numbers came out 170.

First time I went to the casino, I played 3 card poker. I ended up coming home with $250.00. I know it's not a lot of cash. But it's better then coming home empty handed right? That was a few years ago & I haven't been to a casino since then. Can someone remind me of how the game is played? The dealer passes out 3 cards to each player & then 3 more to him/herself. And then flips one up to reveal right? Or is it the other way around? I do know that players are not allow to look at their cards until the dealer flips one card up.
