  • Programing Assistance Please!?

    Three Part Question:

    1) Condense the Following Into A Problem Statement in IF/THEN format:

    2) High Level View of the program solution:

    3) Function and Internal Structure of each program module:

    -------------------------------

Suppose your team of software developers has won a contract to develop a program that will calculate a customer's charges and total bill at the gasoline pump, taking into account the following:

    1) The per-gallon price for gas is determined by whether the customer purchases regular or premium gasoline.

    2) A federal gasoline tax is applied to each gallon of gas; the amount varies between regular and premium gas.

    3) No additional charges are added, apart from state sales tax, if customers pump the gas. If the customers do not pump the gas, one of the following two service charges apply:

Gas-and-go charge: If the customer asks for a gas-and-go service, meaning the station pumps the gas for the customer but performs no other service, a fixed service charge is applied to the bill. The charge does not vary by the amount of gas purchased.

Full-service charge: If the customer asks for a full service, meaning the station pumps the gas, checks the oil, checks the air pressure in the tires, and cleans the car windows, a fixed charge is applied to the bill. The charge does not vary by the amount of gas purchased.

    4) A state sales tax is applied to the sum of all charges except for the federal gasoline tax.

  • I need a damn good audition song! Any recommendations?

I am auditioning for AMDA, my audition is less than a week away and I need an audition song that I can really sell to the judges! I am a baritone who is classically trained in voice, my comfortable range is E2 - G4. I sing with a lot of vibrato. I want a song that is cleverly written and really captivates the audience from the first line! I'm a strong actor, I want to tell a story in the song I sing. And I need something with a huge vocal finale! Something very impressive! Difficulty is not a factor, I can sing most anything. If possible, please post a Youtube video to the songs you are recommending. Oh, and one more catch... the song has to be from any published "Broadway" production. Just to reiterate, the song must come from a show that is either currently "on" broadway, or has been "on" broadway in the past. Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway shows don't count ;)

Whoever recommends the best song (in my opinion) will be paid in compliments and good-fortune ;)

  • I'm a second Tenor and I need help learning how to become a first tenor.?

I'm in an original adaptation of Aladdin at Junior University Musical Theater. In the show there is a worshiper who sings this first tenor solo... I am not a first tenor, I'm a second tenor, there is no way I can hit those high notes. So anyways, they were having auditions for the Worshiper, and I don't know why I auditioned for that part, but I did. When I got the music, I almost fainted because there was no way that I was going to be able to hit those high notes..So when I was lined up with everyone else I was pretty nervous. When I got up there to sing the song I nailed it, and got the part. But I've never been able to hit those notes again, and now I'm pretty nervous b/c we have rehearsal for my solo tomorrow night. What should I do to bring out this hidden higher-range not that I didn't know I had?

  • Where can I go to apply for a grant without getting a "free" grant-kit?

I own my own theatre company, and I am trying to purchase a permanent place to house my plays. The building is going to cost me $450,711 and my question is where can I go to find grants that will help us pay for this building? I don't want to pay s&h for a free grant kit, and I don't want to join a website that charges $39.95 a month, I just need direct links to applications.

  • I write for musical theater and I need help finding software...?

I am looking for a software that will allow me to write scripts and write music all in one software. I currently use Final Draft 7 for writing scripts and Finale 2008 for writing music, but the more music that i writer per show, the more confused I get in the story line. Sometimes it gets to the point where I have excess amounts of music that doesn't fit with the script. Can anyone recommend a single software that will keep all of my work together in one software.

  • Can Anyone Help me with my Power-Max Ink Trouble?

I bought a brand of ink called power max, they make cheap ink that is compatible with brand name printers such as hp, lexmark, and cannon. The printer I have is the Epson-RX680...The first cartridge i got from them worked great, the second cartridge however is saying "Ink Cartridges cannot be recognized. make sure ink cartridges are correctly installed." I know for a fact that the ink cartridges are correctly installed, and I can sit here and keep reinstalling it all day, that's not going to make it work. The company's costumer service runs by email and who knows how long before they get back to me. Does anyone have any advice that might lead to the solution to this problem?

  • I need help with my audition for college...(?)?

Hello, My name is Zac, and I'm applying for AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in Los Angelas California. For my audition I must perform one two-minute monologue (contemporary or classical) and one two minute song from the musical theater or classical repertoire. I will need to find sheet music for this also. My singing range is Tenor, my age is 17, and I can really use help with finding the requirements above. If anyone has any recommendations please leave direct links to the song or monologue below. Thankyou very much =)

  • Theatrical Flying Effect?

I'm producing a play of Cinderella which I wrote myself. In the scene where Fairy-Godmother makes her first entrance, I want her to fly from the back of the theater, to onstage (in our theater that's only about 35-50feet, but it would still be a neat effect). I considered ZFX-Flying, but for the simplicity of our project, they might be a little bit too expensive (but definitely worth it if there are no other options)...Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?
