  • How to print PDF file with this annoying message?

    I work at a University's library, I help students when they have a problem with the computers or need help to find information.

    I can usually figure my way through most problems, but there's one problem that I need some help on.

    On the one computer today, a student had trouble printing a .pdf file. It kept bringing up a dialog box asking for saving to an "Output file" and asks for one to type in a name for said file. I've given it a name today and clicked OK, but it didn't want to print. How can I bypass this question and just print the file?

    Extra info... the computers are linked to a printer via a network, the students pay for printing by putting in their student number and pins.

  • Where can one find a countersigner for a British Passport?

    My boyfriend is a British citizen and he needs to get a passport, but the part about the countersigner stumps him because he doesn't know anyone who can sign for him.

    We do know someone who got a passport a few years back and used a barman as a countersigner, but we don't see "Purveyor of Liquid Entertainment" in the list of acceptable signers. Did they get strict or can one ask anyone to countersign?
