I am a stay at home army wife. My husband and I have been married for 2 years now and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. My husband is currently deployed for the first time. We are expecting twins due in August. I like meeting new people and getting together with friends (the few friends I have). I like to travel and try new things. I don't know what else to say other than the fact that I miss my husband dearly and can't wait to be back in his arms! I sure hope he's home before these babies come.

  • Which "R" names would you choose to go with this last name?

My last name is Fotheringham and I just found out that i'm 6 weeks pregnant with twins! B/C they were conceived during my husband's mid-deployment leave (r & r), we wanted the names to start with "R"...these are the names we currently have:

    GIRLS:

    Reilly Destiny

    Reilly Chelsea

    Reilly Abigail

    Rory Harmony

    Rory Marie

    Rory Campbell

    BOYS:

    Ryan Skyler

    Ryan Chase

    Ryan Cooper

    Reddin Axel

    Reddin Maxwell

    Reddin Gabriel

We won't be finding out the genders until delivery. Since this pregnancy was a surprise, we want the genders to be as well.

  • i have one last question: what is the size limit for tattoos when joining the army?

my recruiter never answered this when i showed him the giant tattoo on the back of my calf. it covers 3/4 of my calf and im just wondering if the size of it keep me from enlisting. i know that its too big for the air force, i've already talked to them about it. but the army never answered my question. so im assuming that its ok.

(if you want to see my tattoo in order to answer my question, i will send you a personal email with the picture included)

but how big is too big?

  • Does anyone know where to go to book a military vacation?

I'm trying to find a hotel or resort in Hawaii i can book in December for my husband's R&R. But I dont know where to go to book it. I was hoping to go through some military travel company or something but not sure who. I've already looked into using the Armed Forced Vacation Club but they only let you book 10 days in advance. • what do you think of this idea...?

i am getting a tattoo on my right calf within the next week or so and i would like to have it of a soldier standing infront of the american flag holding his weapon. i'm planning on getting the face of the soldier as my husband's, i ran this idea past him and he was in love with the idea. but now im starting to second guess myself. he's leaving for a year deployment next month and i thought if anything should ever happen to him i want to carry him with me forever and i thought the tattoo would be a sweet idea. but what do you think? and yes, i am willing to go through life with my husband's face on my body if anything does happen to him.

  • am i smuthering him?

my husband leaves for a year long deployment next month and lately all i've been wanting to do is spend as much time as i can with him. i've even asked him not to play his computer games so we can have more time to ourselves. is this too much or is this normal? this will be our first deployment together and yes, i have been told that the best way to deal with things while he's gone is to stay busy. please dont tell me that anymore, i've heard it all. what i want to know is how can i enjoy our last few weeks together without feeling like im constantly in his face?
