  • Phentermine and B12 shots?

Per doctor recommendation I started Phentermine and B12 shots on Thursday I was 256lbs at 5'6". I weighed myself this morning and I am at 251.8. I am so afraid that I am losing to fast. I still eat just smaller portions and healthier choices.

A little background info, Other than being over weight I am healthy, no high blood presser etc. I have been dieting and exercising alone for 3 months and lost only 5lbs total. So you can see why it scares me to have lost almost 5lbs in 3 days.

Has anyone every taken this combo or one or the other by itself? Do you know anyone that takes them? Any positive information requested. Thanks

    Your Question

Do babies teeth come in in a certain order?

My son two bottom teeth came in when he was about 4 months old. He is almost 8 months now. i have been waiting for his two top teeth to come in, but the upper side tooth came in first. Is this abnormal. I am thinking that they may all come in at once. what do you think?

  • Why doubt my question?

I have been asking questions on here for years, mostly when I am pregnant. I have seen some people get on here and ask some of the craziest questions ever. But who is she to doubt me. I have no reason to lie and if she is an RN then she should now that there is a possibility and go ask the doctor next time she goes to work.

I was pregnant with twins and my water broke at 16 weeks. They told me then that chances of survival was slim to none for her and gave me a choice to totally end my pregnancy or continue on to give Twin b a chance. Of course I choose to give both my babies a chance I was not giving up hope. Well unfortunately 3 weeks later I went into labor and when they checked me my daughter was already in the birth canal. I had to basically sit there with my legs spread open and wait for her to come out on her own without pushing to prevent twin b from coming as well. She did come out on her own and all they were able to do was keep her comfortable since she was so early. My heart was broken my first daughter died before I could even hold her.

I stayed in the hospital for about a week and since my cervix closed up on its own my doctor told me B still had a chance with strict bed rest. HE also told me that with me being just 20 weeks they could not do anything to prevent him from coming medically( if you are an RN you should know this). So I was sent home.

Gratefully here I am 33 weeks exactly and still pregnant with my son Twin B. His last estimated weight was 4lbs 10 oz and they say he is doing great and never had a clue what was going on.

So if you read this and you still think my story is suspicious call the school you went to and tell them you need a refresher course.

I do not get on here to get negative responses or give them. I get on here for support just like I am sure many others do as well.

I am sorry if I offended anyone but I had to get this off my chest it really hurt me that someone would think I would make this up.

  • Im 33 weeks having contractions?

I am 33 weeks today and have been taking terbutaline for the past two weeks to stop my contractions. Well now its not working anymore. I just spoke to my doctor and he told me to see how it goes over the next few hours. Many people say when a baby is ready to be born there is no stopping him. Will he be okay if born 7 weeks early?

This is not an average pregnancy originally had twins, one was born 12/29 at 19 weeks. She passed 5 min later. I have been on bed rest since then.

  • Question, suffering the lost of one child while still pregnant with one. Help!?

This is a short version of a long story I have told many times over the past couple of months.

I am now 26 weeks pregnant with a little boy or as the doctors call him twin b. Yes i was pregnant with twins and my daughter was born premature 8 weeks ago. She died 5 min after birth.

I cant sleep, I cry everyday. I try to be strong for my two boys I have here and for the one that I am still carrying but it still hurts so bad.

Could I be suffering post partum depression? I plan on talking to my doctor when I go for my weekly checkup Wednesday.

I didn't think it was possible because Im still pregnant, and I have never had it before. Any advise.

  • 23 weeks pregnant and depressed.?

I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with a little boy and I am so depressed all I keep hearing from my doctors and family is that its normal. This is my story....

I was pregnant with twins and I lost one. And unlike most who loose twins my situation is unique and I think that's why it hurts so much. I was 16 weeks when my water broke around baby A. I knew from that point that there was very little chance of survival, but I never gave up. Well 2 weeks later when i was 18 weeks I went into labor and by the time I got to the hospital she was already in the birth canal. I was devastated I was loosing my babies. Well I found out that even when they deliver her that Baby B still had a great chance of surviving. She was delivered weighing 6oz and 8in long. to see her moving for 2 min broke my heart because the didn't and couldn't do anything to save her.

Well here I am here 5 weeks later and my Baby B is still doing great. Im on complete bed rest. They expect him to go full term. I just hurt so bad every time I think of Essence E. I wonder if I did anything wrong.

I know this was long and not necessarily a question but I just needed to vent. I will still choose a best answer though Thanks in advance. Sometimes I think that I get on my family and friends nerves talking about it.

  • question about an umbilical cord coming out?

Its me again pregnant with twins now 18 weeks. Last week I was here because the water broke around one of the twins. I have been under strict medical care since then. Well Wednesday night the cord of that baby came out. I am just going through it. I was rushed to the hospital. They told me that now my chances of infection are more likely. But that my cervix was still closed and I show no signs of labor. So they sent me home this time on antibiotics, because other than me giving them perm mission to deliver the babies now there is nothing they can do. Chance of survival right now is 0 so I do not want to do that. They told me if I could make it to 24 weeks I would have a chance of them surviving.

I am just going through it and do not know what to do.

    Any words of of advise?

  • Another question about fluid leaking?

First of all I may have many questions I have nothing else to do for the next 4 months but sit on my butt and take care of my unborn children.

I am almost 17 weeks with twins. Baby A sac broke thursday, Baby B is okay. Both babies have strong heart beats. They do not want me to get my hopes up about baby A because they said due to lack of fluid the baby may not survive.

    I will never give up!!!!!

Anyway my question is I have not leaked since friday afternoon. I am thinking the sac resealed itself. Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of this happening. If so could the fluid be building back up.

I go back to the dr tuesday and I am hoping they have good news for me. I am hoping that my Baby A is part of that 10% that can still survive.

  • Has anyone ever heard of fluids replenishing into the sac?

I am almost 17 weeks now with twins, and the sac broke around one of the babies. They basically told me that there was almost no chance of survival for that baby even if i go full term because of loss of fluid. So they are pretty much focused on twin b, because they still have plenty of fluid and a high chance of survival. I do not want to give up hope on baby a this baby is the most active of the two and is strong i can feel it.For the time being I am on bed rest at home until i am 24 weeks then i will be admitted into the hospital until i deliver. A few people have told me that there is a chance of fluid replenishment has anyone ever heard of this before?

  • 16 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins and scared!?

Yesterday while at work my water broke around one of my babies. I went to the hospital and they did an ultrasound this morning. They said that there was really nothing that they could due until I was at least 23 weeks. So they sent me home. Baby A is missing a lot of fluid. Baby B is fine. They say that they both have a chance of surviving as long as I do not get an infection or Baby A does not try to deliver. Has anyone else been through anything like this. Any advise?

  • Im pregnant with twins with a question?

I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins. These are going to be babies 3 and 4. With my oldest I found out what he was when I was 20 weeks. With my second I was 15 weeks. When did you find out what you were having? I am so anxious I want to know what the babies are. The doctor is saying that I should be prepared with nursery and everything by the end of February in case of bed rest.
