I am looking for some stuff to get for a loved one. She is a horse freak and has a lot of stuff!

Preferably stuff for her horses (two mares- black and sorrel) and not Christmas stuff. More stuff she can use year round! THANK YOU! :)

  • Question about my mare's coat?

I have a mare that was born a grulla, but over time (8 years) she turned black. Is that a "graying" effect? Or what is that called? Is her color (genetic wise) a grulla or black? Please, I need a good answer.

  • Help my mutton withered barrel horse?

My mare is getting better and faster at her barrels (which is awesome :) ) I just had a quick question as to what I can do to make sure the saddle doesn't move while we are running. It HAS NOT moved yet, I just don't want that to ever happen :) Thanks!

  • Saddle fitting for my two mares?

I have two mares. One is mutton withered and one is high-withered. What size saddles (FQHB, Full, Semi?) would be my best chance of fitting them each? I am going to be getting one saddle for each.

    Thanks!

  • Help! I'm starting my own horse training business?

When you start your own horse training business, should I have any papers (or something in writing) between me (the trainer) and the horses' owner? Like if something were to happen? I need a logical person to answer this one, no stupid answers! Thanks

  • SHORT! What should I do about this guy?

This guy and I have been talking every night for about a month. We have both very honest with each other. He has told me he likes me, and he knows that I huge trust issues and that I like him, but I need time to trust him first. He told me he was completely okay with it. I had engaged in the conversation for a couple days in a row, so I was gonna see if he would talk to me. He hasn't talked to me for two nights, and I don't know if I should start another one or wait until he texts me first? Please help, and no stupid answers. Thanks!

  • How much do you think these horses are worth?

These are my mares and due to some circumstances, I need to know how much my mares are worth. I need honest opinions. Please don't be judging me for "being curious", as I need to know what they are worth. Thanks :)

    1) Lily: A 16hh, 9 year old registered red sorrel Appendix mare. She is a great kids horse that could be used for lessons as she is very patient. She is a great mare that is bombproof and never spooks or takes off. She is a fantastic arena or trail horse. She is race bred so can run when asked, but waits till she knows your ready. I have put people on her that have never rode before and gone on a trail ride. NEVER had an issue. She loads in a straight or slant load. Quiet when hauling, and never has problem riding in a new place. Is okay with load music, announcers, flags, kids running, bells, tarps etc. Has been ridden in parades as well and didn't hesitate once. I have been using her for gymkhanas and she gets better and better every time. She is running 3D times now, with lots of room for growth. Has never offered to buck, rear, kick, bite, or take off. She does crib, but is completely controlled with a cribbing collar. Great horse that has an awesome personality for a mare.

    2) Midnight: A solid black 8 year old 15hh Tennessee Walker/Paint cross. This is mare is a good girl and is doing well, but is still green, as she has a lot of learning to do. Has bucked me off at a canter once, but I had a bad fitting saddle at the time. But since then, I got a new saddle the fits and she hasn't done that in 5 months now. She can be ridden in a D-ring snaffle or a bosal/hackamore. Great barrel horse potential. She is built like a stocky "tank" like Quarter or Paint. She is a gorgeous girl with a great personality. She just wants to me loved. A horse that has great potential when worked with every day. She has never offered to rear, bite, or take off. She loads with a little hesitation with both a straight load and slant, but will load if given a little time. Quiet while hauling and we haven't had any issues riding in new places. She doesn't mind running kids or the loud music/announcers.

Please, I need honest answers but not cruel ones :) Thanks a ton!

  • How much can I sell my horse trailer for?

I have a two horse straight load. It has just be re-wired. Brand new tires with about 100 miles. I sanded down the rust and repainted it as well. Nice white color. It has awesome floors with rubber mats that were fitted perfectly. Mangers are clean. Bigger tack spot that can hold at least 3 saddles on their pommels! Very clean! Great little trailer. I'm wondering how much it is worth? Thanks!

  • How can I teach my mare to stand still?

I have two mares and I take them to gymkhanas every weekend. Lily would stand still weather Midnight is there or not. But Midnight doesn't wanna stand by herself. The only way she will stand still is if my dad holds her while I'm riding Lily. What can I do to teach Midnight to stand still at the trailer even when Lily is gone? Please no crap about this, she's a new horse that is green broke and only gone to two gymkhanas. :) thanks!

I had heard that my mare has fat in her neck from being overweight at one point. I wanted to know what I can do to get her to loose that in a healthy manner and replace it with muscle. I don't want it to like sag or something. What can I do to work that off and replace it with muscle? Thanks :)

  • Help with my rabbit and guinea pig?

If I have a rabbit that is about 5yrs and a guinea pig that's about 1yr, is there any chance that they could live together in a hut? Or will the rabbit kill him?

  • Help with my tanning?

My best friend is getting married in a month and a half (end of September). I have to wear a sleeveless dress (which is fine), but I need to work on my tan. Right now, my arms are super tan, my legs are kinda tan, and my back/ feet are white as heck (:P). If I lay in the sun everyday in short shorts and a strapless bra for about 30min, would my tan all even out in time? If not, what should I do to make sure it's all even in time?

  • Help telling this guy I'm not interested?

There is this guy that likes me a lot, but I have no interest in him for many reasons. Yes, he is attractive, but he doesn't care about me or my feelings. He also is constantly wanting to hang out. What do I say? Should I be honest with him, tell him I'm not interested, and that we should both move on? Or should I just slowly back off?

The only problem I have with telling him it isn't gonna work is we see each other every week, I think it would be really awkward. I just wanna do the right thing. Thanks :)

  • Would my rabbit do this?

I was looking into getting a big hutch for my rabbit so he has room to walk around and stretch out. Would he walk up and down a ramp of a two level hutch? I don't wanna buy or make one unless I know that he will use all the space! :)

    Thanks!

  • Anyone got a good idea on a name?

I found out that my mares registered name is weird "Sitting on Sable" and isn't like her at all. I am gonna change it (I know it will be hard), and I want it to have both the words Lily and Sparkle in it. Anyone have any good ideas? Thanks :)
