I have "inherited" one of these, and don't need it. I have done several searches with no luck. Any help out there?

When they were created, workers REALLY needed them. But, why are they still around? They used to get you benefits like health insurance, set wages, etc., but you can get that with ANY job nowadays. I live in a town with two auto manufacturing plants, and I know of at least three people that have been caught multiple times drinking on the job, yet they keep their jobs! There is also a guy that is 55 years old pushing a broom that makes over 60K per year. I'm not hating on the guy, but maybe that is why the auto industry in the US is in such deep doodoo.

Please help me understand this! If you are union, please let me know the percentage of your pay for the dues.

Everytime I try to have a conversation regarding my feelings about Obama, ie. he doesn't know what he's doing, they get seriousley upset, and call me a facist? When they say the same thing to me about McCain, I don't go off the rocker and call them a Pinko. It seems as though they are very touchy. Can someone help me here?

Should I just bring American currency, travelers checks, what should it be?

Has anyone ever tried this? If so, how did you do it? If you got caught, did they just throw it away?
