Please explain your reasoning. :)

Thanks -- just trying to understand both sides of this.

Today in class we were discussing the play 'Julius Caesar' written by William Shakespeare.

My teacher and I were debating over the idea of Caesar being deaf in his left ear. She says that it was true that he was deaf. I went online and researched it and there were no sources of him ever being deaf in either ear. Here is the line from the play (modernized):

"Come over to my right side, because this ear is deaf, and tell me what you really think of Cassius." ~ Caesar to Antony

I feel that it was just a figure of speech (Caesar gestures Antony to the other side of him in order to conceal the whispering of words from Cassius) and this quote I found on wikipedia correctly describes it by saying that Shakespeare may have found inspiration from Parallel Lines (Plutarch's work):

"No classical source mentions hearing impairment in connection with Caesar. The playwright may have been making metaphorical use of a passage in Plutarch that does not refer to deafness at all, but rather to a gesture Alexander of Macedon customarily made. By covering his ear, Alexander indicated that he had turned his attention from an accusation in order to hear the defense."

If any of you could find any article or source about this, that'd be great. It's really bugging me because my teacher insulted me further about it and it'd be great to know the actual answer instead of her unclear answer.

I use a razor with four blades, and I don't use shaving cream, just water and then I apply soap afterwards.

I have used shaving cream and soap before I shaved and it made no difference.

Usually I apply lotion, and it's not AS bad, but it's still there. But, when I shave my bikini-line (and lower) I ALWAYS get it no matter what I do.

Can you guys tell me how to prevent razor burn and treat it if I've already gotten it? Especially for feminine areas?

I'll get straight to the point, I'm fifteen, and my boyfriend's seventeen. We've been going out for about 15 months now and he always comes over my house every 2 weeks or so (not more, because he lives a couple towns over because we met online). He's probably come over well over 20 times.

I've only ever been to his house once, and gone out to dinner with his parents once. I want to get to know them since our relationship is very serious and we are a very serious couple. But, he never wants me to come over to his house; I'm not sure why.

He's always saying that he doesn't want me to get to know them or things like that. He's not hiding anything, I'm sure, but, I'm just kind of confused to the reason why he won't let me come over to his house.

Meeting and getting to know his parents is very important to me and I'd rather get to know them sooner, rather than later. I'd understand if we just started going out, but it's been 15 months, I think I deserve to get to know them.

I've tried talking to him about it but he's extremely stubborn and won't let me come over.

His parents are good people, they're not abusive or bad people to be around at all.

My question is, why won't he let me come over, and how can I try to persuade him to let me?

I just recently got out of school at the beginning of the month, went on vacation and have been sleeping in much more often and hours longer.

Could this be making my period late?

I am irregular to start with. Usually I'm five weeks apart, but sometimes it's longer. Right now, I'm one week late.

What we've been doing mostly is just foreplay things like oral and hand-jobs. I was wondering, could I be pregnant if we've just been doing that. He hasn't ejaculated on my vagina or anything, but what's making me nervous is the fact that I don't know if I was self-conscious about what was on my hands. He always washes his hands, but if I were to finger myself about like an hour or so afterwards, could I be pregnant?

There wasn't any visible fluid on my hand or anything.
