I was told that I have emphysema but if I don't smoke any more that It will not get worse .

Is this true ? because I have seen people die who do not smoke

I'm using this Samsung R-730 for Android service and it works pretty well around town and about anywhere but when I get home and climb the stairs to the second floor of my wood frame apartment building the damn thing goes to being virtually useless. It rings but I can't hear the callers speaking , The WiFi is terribally spotty and it just all around sucks.

The Question is ;;;;;; Is there any sort of device at all that I can purchase or rig in my apartment to improve this type of problem? maybe some sort of antennae ? Anything ,please I'm desperate!

I''ve had a neuro-stimulator implanted in my pectoral area for 8 weeks now and 6 days ago I found it had developed an infection in the area of the battery .

I was addmitted for 24 hours of IV vancomycin and discharged home with 10 days of dycloxycillin capsules .

48 hours later I had 25ml of yellow fluid drained from the site that refilled almost overnight around the device and I am in my 4th day of oral antibiotic treat,ent.

My surgeon has told me that removing the device may be necessary to cure the infection but will examine it Monday. Question is ;;;;Can my body fight this infection with the device in place ?:

Removing it will possibly involve also removing one of the two electrodes from my brain also and virtuallly repeating most of the complete original operation to regain the present benifit.

Is a drain an option for this type of problem ? What is it about having a device in the body prevents infection from being cleared up versus removing it ?

This is a worst case scenerio that I am balancing my options over.

Any professional advice I would sure be delighted and thankful to receive.

I have used Cantix and it has eliminated my smoking at one time but I retured to smoking as I did not use it for the full recomended time.

I should have used it for 3 months or so to fully get away from a long term smoking habit.

My question is that now I use it to sometimes regulate my intake when I find myself smoking up to a pack a day ,, I will use the drug for a week or so to stop smoking as much and it will lower my intake to about 3 cigarettes a day or less.

I am trying to obtain some information on the long term intermitant use of the drug in this manner please

Could someone tell me the electrical load of the pumps required to circulate coolant water within the fuel core of an idling nuclear power plant when not producing power in order to maintain nuclear fuel stability and regulate temperature?

I have used Chantix for smoking cessation twice in the last six months and, while it does as it advertises , I do find that I smoke one or two cigarettes a day while I am using the medication down from a pack a day for some 30 years .

Now , I keep the medication on hand and if I find that my cigarette consumption blossoms to say 10 a day , I will resume taking the medication again to regulate my nicotine intake again for 2 more or so.

The question is,,,, Is it safe to use the medicine in this stop and go manner because I have done it 3 or 4 times in six months . In that time my cigarette consumption has dropped to 2 packs a week from a carton (200 Cigarettes ) a week or more .

Is there a physiological price to pay for using this medication ? Please ignore any mention of psycological effects . The active dream states it produces are simply entertaining .
