I am deployed in Afghanistan and there are many locals selling Gems on the big post near, as well as out in the cities.

I have been buying some, and from what I gather a few of them really know what they are doing, and some of them don't know that much about the gems. I have been asking people a lot about them, and researching it, but I am wondering which types of Gems I should buy to get the most profit from reselling. So far I have gotten some of the following: Black diamonds (some around 7-9 ct), many rubies, some afghan rubies, some watermelon tourmaline, some tanzinite, but they have many other types available, including blue, yellow, and green fancy diamonds (heat treated). The black Diamonds I have are not monzanite, and have no hints of green in bright white light. My wife is getting one of the 3.4 ct and 6.92 ct Black diamond appraised at a few shops in Germany in the next week. Thanks for any and all input from experiance, or from education on the subject. I installed a new HDMI videocard (Radeon HD 4350) and it seems that it took my realtek AC 97 completely off my computer, and it is not listed in the Audio devices anymore. Since I have no way of hooking HDMI cable to my speakers I was wondering how to go back to my original sound card (factory)?? I tried disableing the HD Radeon sound card, and reinstalling the AC 97 driver from website but no cigar? Please help.

I just bought Radeon Force 3D HD 4350 Video card and installed it. Picture is great, but it seems in uninstalled my original (factory, onboard) sound card and replaced it with the HDMI sound card attached. My problem is that I don't have and HDMi connections on my speakers or monitor, so I want to use the old sound port but it no longer has my realtek AC 97 sound card listed in "sound and audio devices". I clicked to disable the Radeon HD sound device, and downloaded the AC 97 driver but still no listing and no sound? need help please!? :(

(I have Compaq Presario SR1650NX w/ 3 GB RAM)
