Do you think this workout (from Cosmopolitan) will tone your butt quickly or not?
I'm looking to get a toned butt and saw this workout: http://www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/how-to/a1850...
Do you think that really would give you a good butt, or not? Thanks!
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years agoHow can I be less nervous about this assembly where I'm getting "recognized"?
Okay, so at my high school I'm the "student of the the month" which means I have to go to this meeting in a couple of weeks where I'll have to go up to the front, get my picture taken for the newspaper, et cetera. The problem is, I HATE being the center of attention because I'm a pretty shy person so I'm so nervous. Plus, they are also honoring the best school athletes at that meeting and I have a crush one of the athletes, and I can't even focus when I'm in the same room with him, lol- he just makes me so nervous! So that will be added on to my already nervous state so I just don't know how it will go. If anyone has any tips on calming down and such, that would be AWESOME! Thanks!
Friends6 years agoHow can you create links using the Wix website builder?
So I'm new to the Wix website builder and I'm trying to find out how to create normal links. The problem is, when I do the "create a button" option, the links come up super big in an obnoxious colored box, but I just want to create a normal link. You know how you will just see writing on websites that are underlined and are a link but are just in the middle of a paragraph or page? That's what I want- not the huge boxes that I get when I try to make links on Wix. Is there another way to create a link using the Wix website builder that actually looks normal and can just be regular words on a page? Thank you!
1 AnswerProgramming & Design6 years agoHow can I tell him I didn't say this about him?
So I'm a sophmore in high school and almost everyone thinks of me as a really nice person (and, not to be concieted, but I pretty much am). There is this senior boy who is also extremely nice- he's just a really great person, and he has a crush on me. So, a senior girl who liked this guy told him I said something really horrible about him (not going in to it here) and because they are friends, he believed her, so now he is really hurt and doesn't really look at me. We weren't really friends before, so I don't know how to approach him and convince him I did not say that. Suggestions or advice? Thanks!
1 AnswerFriends6 years agoMy crush asked me to play basketball with him- help please!?
Okay, so I have had a long time crush on this guy because he's just the all around perfect guy (in my opinion). We've been friends but there's flirting too, so we're not just friends- we just like to take things slow. Anyway, he loves basketball (is on the high school team) and asked me to hang out and play with him. The problem is, I'm AWFUL at it and he actually knows that but he just wants to have fun. The thing is, I am SO embarrassed and don't know how I'll do this- I' feel like I'll humiliate myself! Do you have tips on confidence, or ANYTHING? Thanks, it's much appreciated!
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years agoWould it be weird to complement him on his smile?
So there’s this boy in my high school who has a really beautiful, contagious smile, and I love giving people complements and so I’m always on the verge of telling him that he has a really beautiful smile, but I don’t want to creep him out! Granted, he’s a really nice person so I’m sure he wouldn’t act like he thought it was weird even if he thought so, but I don’t want to make him (or myself!) uncomfortable. Do you think he’ll consider it nice or creepy? Thanks!
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years agoDo you have to keep increasing your workout to stay toned?
I have heard that if you start working out you will gradually have to increase the intensity of your workout so that you can stay toned? Is this true? Now realize that I'm not at all looking to become super strong or body build, I just want to have a nice butt and thighs! Thanks!
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years agoIs this a good daily workout to get a toned body?
Okay, so note that I am not trying to become a body builder; I just want a nicely toned butt, legs, and abdomen so that I can feel more confident in my body (right now I m skinny but not toned). So, do you think if I worked up to a daily workout of 2 sets of 50 reps each (so 100 in all)
-squats
-planks
-crunches
(so all of them combined I would be doing 300 a day)- do you think I would be toned and continue to stay that way? Again, not looking to be massively muscular, just more toned.
Thanks guys!
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years agoWill doing squats really get you a good butt?
I was reading online this website that said you should do squats- the one move to get a better butt quickly. They said you should start out with 20 each day, pausing 5 seconds when in the squat position each time. They said you would have a good butt within two weeks. This struck me as maybe a little too good to be true. So my questions are: are squats a good way to get a good butt, how long will it take (about) and any other tips? Thank you very much guys!
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoHow can I be less shy around this guy?!?
So there’s this guy I have a crush on and I think he is interested in me too. The problem is, whenever he tries to talk to me (he has started a few conversations with me, even though we don’t come across each other at school often) I hardly say anything because I’m so nervous. Not only do I not say much or anything interesting, I’m afraid I almost come across as supercilious or arrogant because I don’t even look at him for most of the conversation! Even when I’m around him but not talking to him, if I’m talking to a friend, and see him, I get all nervous, so he never sees me laugh or smile or be myself! I know to get him to ask me out on a date we’ll have to have a couple of good conversations first and kind of “connect” but how can we do that when I can hardly even speak, let alone laugh or show my normal personality, when I’m around him? Any tips on being more “natural” around him? I try to think ahead of time of what I will say to him if he talks to me and plan it out, but then when it actually happens I don’t remember any of that! Help, please!
If it’s important, we are both in high school.
Thanks very much!!
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoHas anyone tried Ultimate Web as a web host before?
Hi, I posted a few minutes ago but I'm not sure if it actually posted. Sorry if this is the second time.
I'm looking for anyone that has used Ultimate Web (at ultimatewb.com) before to create a website. I wanted to know what you thought- pros, cons, et cetera. I wasn't able to find any reviews for the product online except the ones on their website, so I wanted a "second" opinion on their services.
Thanks very much!! :)
2 AnswersTechnology7 years agoIs Ultimate Web Builder (ultimatewb.com) a good website builder?
If you have used it (or know someone who has) what did you think of it- pros and cons, or any important things to know about it? I couldn't find that many reviews of it online (other than on their website) so I wanted to check here.
Thank you!!
2 AnswersSearch Engine Optimization7 years agoHow to feel more happy and do more things?
I look at other people’s lives, people around my age or a few years older (I’m 17) and wish that I was them. Their appearance, their social lives, their plans and hopes for the future, their friends and families. I just feel like I’m so shy and I’m not making much of an impression on the world or anyone and like I’m not making a difference in anyone’s life. I have always been shy and felt rather unhappy and isolated and not “like” everyone else, but now I have a chronic medical condition that makes it a bit harder for me to do the normal things and it makes me experience a lot of discomfort which just makes it harder to get through day to day life. I guess I just need pointers on how to improve my life? There are some things I know I can’t improve, like my chronic illness (at least not right away), but I know I could work to become more social and find out what I enjoy (I really don’t know much about what I “enjoy” because I haven’t been able to experience much).
I just want to feel like other people. I know no one’s life is perfect but mine is just so isolated and I am so shy and it just makes it that much more difficult with a medical condition. This sounds cheesy but I guess I just need help “finding myself” and becoming more confident and fulfilled?
1 AnswerPsychology7 years agoHow to cheer up a guy who asked you out and you rejected?
A few days ago a guy asked me out and I had to politely reject because I'm not attracted to him. I'm a sophomore and he is a junior in high school. We are kind of friends- I don't know him that well but everyone who has ever met him is like his best friend- you really could not find a more selfless, sweet, amazing person. He is always looking to make others happy and joking around (in a totally non-crude non-insulting way) but if you are sad, he is absolutely serious and there with you, praying for you. As I said, I don't know him well, but he is such a special person that literally everyone I know who knows him (even the usually picky / hateful people) really like him and consider him a friend.
All that to say, after I rejected him he apologized for asking if it made me uncomfortable, held the door for me as we were leaving study hall (as he does for everyone) but now I feel so bad. He is his usual happy amazing self when he is around anyone but me, but when he is near me he just skirts around me and looks so sad. The other day we were passing by each other and I looked at him. He looked really upset and said "Hi" in such a quiet voice I hardly even heard it or knew it was him. He doesn't look at me as he passes me usually now and if he does, he quickly looks away.
Is there any way I can help him be less sad? Thank you so much for any advice.
4 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoPeople always think I don't try in gym class, including the teacher, but I do, please help?
Okay, so I am in high school and taking physical education as it is required. We are graded on three things in this class: the exam, dressing for class each day, and our effort (because not everyone is good at sports, obviously, so she just wants you to try).
Well, I have a problem. I have always been an unathletic person who does not really like sports, I'm in good shape, but totally uncoordinated (and I find it hard to remember the rules for sports). But every day I try my best at the sport we're doing and the teacher always tells me to try harder. He'll tell me something like, you have to actually TRY to get graded, you know, in a pointed voice. Then the other kids (mostly the athletic girls) will be mad when I'm on their team and they don't even talk to me in the halls anymore because they think I don't try and I don't care. But I do. For example, today we were playing flag football. Someone threw me the ball, so I caught it and ran. I had almost scored when someone grabbed my flag and I was out. A couple people on my team said fairly rude comments and the teacher said, "Next time actually run" in those exact words.
I was so upset. I DID run, I felt like I was running as fast as I could go. And it makes me upset because I even go home and try to practice when we start a new sport. I have seriously spent several hours every day for two weeks practicing tennis and volley ball outside, trying to get a good serve, but I'm just not good.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can get past the people getting rude, and also show them that I'm trying? I'm seriously sad and starting to hate school because of this. In fact, the gym teacher saw my dad once while out shopping and told him that I hate gym class and everyone knows it. Well, I didn't hate it when I was younger (although it was never my favorite class) but of course I do now that everyone thinks I don't try and says mean things to me in that class, the teacher included.
Thanks, I appreciate anything you can tell me so much:)
1 AnswerOther - Education8 years agoHow to get this guy to stop bugging me about a date?!?
So I'm a junior in high school and there's this boy who asked me out in eighth grade and then again my freshmen year. My freshmen year he stared at me quite often but, after asking me out a second time, didn't really talk to me. Same with my sophmore year, watched me a lot but seemed too shy to start conversation with me (thank goodness!).
This year (my junior year) it's a bit worse. You see, my locker is right above his. So when I'm there, he's always there, and he's started talking to me again. A LOT. And he talks about annoying things and I just try to answer with one word so he gets bored, but he doesn't stop talking.
Worst of all is at lunch. We got to pick where we sat the first day of school but then must stay in those seats for the whole year (I know, bad school rule!). Well anyways, the first day I sat down next to my best friend, and then the boy who likes me sat down right across from me. By this point, they had already recorded where my friend and I were sitting so we couldn't switch. So now I honestly don't eat anything at lunch because he's staring at me non stop and I feel so uncomfortable. But I don't think it would be very nice to tell him to stop looking at me! Lol!
And then just today he asked me out for the third time. I said, "No, definitely not", which is probably the meanest thing I've ever said to anyone in my life, lol, and now I feel guilty about being so firm. Ugh. But he's soo annoying, way to persistent, and I've told him no twice before.
After he asked me out this time, he kept talking to me, asking me why and just stuff like that. Then at the end of the day I was walking out and he was talking to me yet again. This time about video games and how I should play some of his favorite with him. Like, really? Lol.
All this to say, do you have any suggestions on getting him to back off? Thank you so so much I really do appreciate any advice you can give.:)
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoWhy did Gia Allemand commit suicide?
I just don't understand it! She seemed like such a driven person, dedicated to her family, friends, helping animals, her career, et cetera. She was a Christian and always appeared so kind and positive. And then she commited suicide? Why? I heard that she might have been having relationship troubles with her boyfriend, but still.... she had such a life going for her and she HUNG herself. Really?
I guess what I'm asking is why do people who seem to be so happy with their life (at least on the outside) commit suicide? She was a role model for a lot of people and while she might have had some troubles, we all do, and not everyone is killing themself! Do people who commit suicide always have depression that others just don't know about? Or do they just do it at a moment's notice without really thinking about it?
