  • Totaled car with liability insurance only. What do I do?

Yesterday I fell asleep at the wheel of my car and piled into a cement wall on a bridge. No one else was involved and no injuries. My car was destroyed and I only have liability insurance(I changed it because I was sick of paying full price for something I never used.) Never been involved in a car accident before. Now I am in a hotel and my wrecked car is sitting at a tow truck shop. I was driving from Washington to Oklahoma. My car is completely paid for. But I am not sure what I should do now. I am in Montana. I could afford a plane ticket or a rental car to get me the rest of the way. So should I just leave my car behind? It is pretty much a lost cause.

  • Anyone able to provide answers to these 3 questions concerning the Bakemonogatari series?

    1. Are there plans to dub it in English soon?

    2. Are there plans to release it on DVD soon?

    3. Will there be a 2nd season?

Though I don't know what the hold up is. I am surprised to see Arakawa Under the Bridge come out with a 2nd season so soon. It wasn't nearly as good as Bakemonogatari.

  • Which boxing style would be harder to learn: Floyd's or Manny's?

And that is if you have the speed and reflexes like them

  • Floyd's opinion is that he is the best boxer ever. Why is that a problem?

Since when was it seen as a negative for a fighter to have complete confidence in himself and his skills. Many trainers would die for a boxer like that. I hear Floyd say that he is the better than all the G.O.A.T.'s of the past. I say good for him. ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT IF ALI COULD SPEAK TODAY HE WOULDN'T SAY HE COULD MOP UP THE FLOOR WITH THE ANY CURRENT FIGHTER OUT. That goes for Duran, Chavez, Hearns, Hagler, etc.

I see it this way. Does Floyd have the skills to back up his statement. Yep. Well that is fine with me if that what he believes. Doesn't I believe it. But I don't have a problem with him saying it. Tiger Woods can say he is the greatest golfer ever. COOL. Kobe can say he is the greatest basketball player. NO PROBLEM. Serena Williams the greatest tennis player. FINE. Moss the greatest NFL receiver. EAT IT UP. Anyone of these people has the skills to compete during any era of their prospective sports.

Maybe it is just me. I like confident athletes. Swagger intact. No Floyd hasn't fought everyone available. And neither has any fighter today, unless your one of the Klitschko's. Doesn't change the fact that he has the skills to pay the bills. Do I believe he is the best ever. NOPE. But I don't have a problem if that is what he believes.

  • If you were a boxer, would you rather be hated and make over 40 million or loved and make 20 million?

I was thinking about the 2 current biggest money makers in the sport of boxing: Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Look at their highest grossing fights after both beat Oscar De La Hoya. Floyd beat Shane Mosley and made 40 million. Manny beat Miguel Cotto and made 22 million. So I asked myself. Which role would I play. The villain or the hero? To be liked or to be loathed? Personally I would happily chose to be hated if it meant more money. The only people's opinions I would care about are my closest friends and my family. Anyone outside of that circle does not matter. I am personally a really nice guy in real life. But if my adviser and promoter came up to me one day and said "if you were more of an asshole, the money you make would quadruple." Well ladies and gentlemen, an asshole would be officially born the minute I heard that statement. Truth be told I would be me for the majority of the time. But come fight promotion time. I would make Mike Tyson look like Manny Pacquiao. Nothing personal, it's just business. What about you? Be truthful. Could you play the bad guy or would you just be yourself?

  • If Cotto can fight for a light-middleweight title at 154, why can't Pacquiao?

People keep saying that Manny is to small. Well Cotto is 5'7 and Manny is 5'6 1/2. He ain't that small.

  • So when did Manny Pacquiao agree to do the random test without the 14 day cutoff?

I haven't seen anyone ask him directly if he did. He sure hasn't said he would take the full test. Bob Arum doesn't give straight answers or he just says he can't get into the details. I have read or seen the majority of interviews. Post a link so I can be enlightened. Mayweather's Camp has said straight out that if random blood testing isn't done all the way to the fight then there won't be a fight. Pretty straight forward and no room for loopholes. Well I have yet to see any hard evidence from Manny's Camp that suggest that they agreed fully to the testing. Closest thing to that would be when they said they would accept Floyd's test leading up to the fight. But when pressed on the details they say no comment. Well "leading up to" and "all the way up to" aren't the same thing. One statement can be questioned and the other is completely clear. Right or Wrong. Anyone who's first language is English can see that.

So provide a link showing he fully agreed. I want to become a believer. And I would be the first to say Floyd is probably scared.

  • Why are fans so obsessed with a boxer's personal life?

I mean damn! How long did this guy, girl, or whatever research to find out this information?

    An example from a superblogger:

"I think Flomo Jr. is just busy trying to figure out how to allocate his current cash flow between:

1)bailing out future members of his posse out of jail

2)the legal battles and expenses for his toothless trainer Uncle Roger

    3) pay off his remaining outstanding debts that he's behind on such as his lease payments for his promotional company, his outstanding car payments that he's behind on and his mortgage on 3 of his properties in Las Vegas.

For a guy who has as much money as he does, he sure can't pay his bills on time. Flomo Jr needs to hire an accountant to manage his money and assets properly, instead of just flaunting them on 24-7." - ez_e91

  • If these fights happened at the same time which would you rather watch Pacquaio/Margarito or Bradley/Alexander?

I'll go with Bradley/Alexander. You know either of these fighters has a chance to win. For the Pacquiao/Margarito fight it would be entertaining but you know all Pacman has to do is keep moving and keep punching to win. Let the speed advantage do the rest.

  • With the media now thoroughly bashing Floyd(like always), do you think he is loving it?

If I were Floyd Mayweather Jr. I would be loving the attention I am getting right now. All it does is feed into his villain persona. Imagine how much fun it will be to walk into the post-fight press conference after thoroughly beating Manny. His ego will reach astronomical levels(it's most likely there already).

It just seems weird to me that he still hasn't tried to talk to the media to speak on his own behalf. That is something we all know he has no problems doing. I just don't think he cares what is being said and he knows what is in store in the future. I guess we will have to wait and see.

  • Will Manny ever agree to the RANDOM blood test without needing a CUTOFF DATE?

A lot of people(mostly pactards) are constantly asking will Floyd ever agree to fight Manny. But the first thing they need to ask is will Manny ever agree to the real drug test. You can't hide behind that smoke screen. You can't say that nobody knows what is in the contract. Bob Arum has come out and said that a 50/50 split is what they want but when the press ask about the drug test he says he can't get into details. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

I wasn't to sure how serious Floyd was on that stipulation. But now we know he is no longer willing to cave in on that. Manny can thank Bob Arum for not doing the deal the first time around. It doesn't matter what the rulebook says. YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD TO IT, BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY. Meaning what ever the fighters agree to in the contract is there decision as long as they adhere to the rules of the NSAC. Spoken from the mouth of the NSAC chairman. Simple as that. If Top Rank will only fight if Floyd pays 10 million per pound then he either says yes or goes home. If Floyd wants him and Manny to undergo random drug testing before the fight then he either says yes or go home. Hell if one fighter says he will only fight if both fighters do cartwheels when they walk to the ring on fight night, its either agree or go home. Understand what I am getting at.

Now we know Floyd is completely unwilling to bend on the RANDOM DRUG TESTING WITH NO CUTOFFS. Then its either Manny agrees or no longer even mentions fighting Floyd. Its that easy. Maybe then Floyd may rethink his position. MAYBE. That is why in some ways I know Manny isn't the smartest when it comes to the business side of boxing. Even Manny isn't clear on how he feels on drug testing. He said in an interview about how he was willing to take any test to help the sport of boxing and to show he was 100% clean. But then he is never asked why he isn't willing to agree to what Floyd wants. The media is willing to call Floyd out on what he says but Manny is always handled with kid gloves.

And stop with the B.S. about the 18 day cut during the Shane/Floyd fight. Neither fighter has any control on when, where, and how they get tested. The USADA controls it. They have stated there was nothing that showed in either fighters test that made them fill like more testing was needed. But they know that if during that time they wanted to test again they could. You'd think that after hearing that Manny would be more willing to do the FULL RANDOM TEST.

  • So what went wrong in the Manny vs. Floyd fight negotiations?

    "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!"

This is how I believe both sides approached the negotiations. Where as Top Rank calls this negotiating. Golden Boy doesn't.

Basically this is what I believe took place. Bob Arum and Al Haymon were talking with Ross Greenburg. Each side was letting him know what they wanted to make the fight happen. Therefore both sides were agreeing to a gag order. Everything required very little discussion except money and drug testing. That is where the actual negotiating would have taken place since both sides were very dead set on what they wanted. But since neither side was willing to cave, no negotiating seemed to really take place. Just a smoke screen. When I think of negotiating, what comes to mind is 2 people trying to come up with a compromise over an issue that would benefit both parties. Kind of like someone talking with a car dealer when discussing the price for a car. But when that same person walks into the dealership and says I want to buy a Ford F-150 for 15,000 and not a penny more. Well then that person is ignored or he is told in a nice way to "go f*** himself."

So when the topic of money and drug testing came, neither side wanted to cave. So one side decided to deliver an ultimatum and the other ignored. Deadline came and went. And thats all she wrote. Top Rank calls that negotiating and Goldenboy calls that B.S. So it all depends on how you look at it. But when your approach to suppose negotiations is "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!" Well folks, not much negotiating is gonna get done.

  • Why do these Pactards keep saying that Manny agreed to the drug test?

Rarely do these super bloggers get to me, but every once in a while you got to put them back in their place.

Basically, lets keep it short and sweet. Simple and straight to the point. Floyd's team said "RANDOM is RANDOM. Pacquiao agrees to full random blood test. Fight is a done deal. If not, no fight." THAT MEANS NO CUTOFF. They have been saying this since before Floyd fought Shane and immediately after during Floyd's interview with Larry Merchant. Notice he doesn't beat around the bush. Notice he didn't say it is negotiable. Top Rank issued their demands. They called Floyd's bluff ignoring what he has been saying since January and now we have no fight. Floyd conceded during the first negotiations. Manny can blame his team for allowing that boat to sail by.

Top Rank didn't agree to s***? And I challenge anyone of you to find evidence proving otherwise.

  • 50 Cent was the last big star to hit the rap game on that type of level. Who do you hope will be the next?

Sorry folks but Drake didn't have that "IT" quality about him. Not like Snoop or 50 Cent.

  • Does Manny Pacquiao need to learn a thing or 2 from Ricky Hatton?

Everyone remembers the infamous line Hatton said during his interview after beating Castillo. (And if you don't know, then you probably aren't a boxing fan but a particular boxer's nuthugger.) But either way the fight was made immediately after wards, resulting in a 10 round clinic from Floyd to Hatton.

Somebody tell Pacquiao to drop the Filipino choir boy act for just a little while. It's time to be more vocal for a change. He needs to follow the example set by his loving Pactards. Maybe if Manny had tried to goad Floyd a little, maybe Floyd would have been more inclined to make the fight happen effective immediately. Maybe Floyd would have been more lenient towards the negotiations just to get in the ring.

OVERALL, WHAT I'M SAYING IS FLOYD NEEDS MOTIVATION. Floyd just made 65 million from his last 2 fights so money isn't driving him back to the ring at this current time. Floyd isn't so much about proving who is the best because Floyd believes without a doubt that he is, regardless of what anyone else thinks. These are the 2 main goals that drive anyone to become a boxer and Floyd is currently good on both.

Bob Arum doing all the talking won't effect Floyd at all. The Bobfather isn't the one who gets into the ring. But if Manny doesn't wanna take it to the level of his adoring Pactards then you can always expect Floyd to be dead set on his stipulations of RANDOM drug tests with no cutoff and a higher purse split, no matter what. Then it will be up to Manny to decide if he is willing to give in or move on. If he is, good for him, but if he isn't, then he needs to keep Floyd's name out of his mouth and focus on the other challenges out there.

  • Should Floyd Mayweather Jr. think about retiring for good?

IMO, Floyd is doing himself a bad service by waiting to fight Pacquiao in May 2011. I mean if he honestly is beginning to lose interest in getting into the ring or if his body isn't holding up like it use to then maybe it's time to call it a career. It is smart to go on a year long lay off then jump into the ring with Manny? It may be ok for a 24 year old but not someone who will be 34 by then. It is well documented the Floyd never chose to be a boxer. It was pretty much thrown on him since birth. So I say if he has truely lost the itch to get in the ring then he probably should go ahead and bow out gracefully. Do I want him to? Hell no. But if he were to say he's done then he will have my respect for being one of the greatest boxers I have ever had the pleasure of watching fight. With or without fighting Pacquiao. Then I will concentrate on Andre Ward, Andre Berto, Devon Alexander, and Timothy Bradley to see which one wants to take his spot. I don't know what it is about Paul Williams, but I can't stand seeing someone with his physical gifts fight so sloppy. He should be a new age Tommy Hearns.

And I don't wanna hear any Pactards comment about how Floyd's team says he is easy work. They say that about everybody Floyd fights. It's part of the game. Why else would they be worried about Manny taking that A-side Meth. (Just joking. I laugh everytime they say that because I don't know what the hell that is. Must be some good s***?)

  • Boxing fans, will you buy Manny's next PPV or wait to watch it when it is free?

I am not at all interested in spending $50 to see Manny easily walk over Cotto again or take on Margacheato(who basically fights like a slower version of Hatton with the "block punches with my face style"). But being the boxing fan that I am, I would gladly watch it when it is free.
