Just recently finished building my brand new PC, but I am a bit underwhelmed. I feel like I should be getting better FPS in the games I am playing. My native resolution is 1920x1080 on a 27" 60hz, with a secondary monitor at 1280x1024.

PC Specs:

- AMD FX-8350

- MSI Gaming X Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB

- Corsair Vengeance 2400 16gb DDR3

- Samsung 240GB 840 Pro Series

- Corsair 600w PSU

- MSI 970 Gaming Mobo

- Copious amounts of air cooling

In CS:GO I average 80-90 FPS on absolute bare minimum settings at native resolution, in H1Z1 I average about 50-60 FPS bare minimum settings, in Overwatch I average about 80-90 bare minimum settings.

I feel like I should be getting much better frames, considering my friend with a mid level i5 Ivy Bridge, 8gb DDR3, and Radeon R9 290 gets far better frame rate than I do even while playing 1920x1080 at 144hz with a second 1080p monitor at 60hz both 24". He usually averages about 300 at the same settings in CS, for reference.

If anyone has any idea what is happening, please let me know. Cheers.

Hello all, my 6 year old male Solomon Islands Eclectus is losing feathers towards the back of his head and down his neck. We know he isn't picking, because this is in an area he is unable to reach. he is also losing some around the sides of his face and top of his head. Again, obviously not picking because he can't reach these areas.

We know it is molting season for him, as he has lost many feathers around his whole body and is now beginning to grow them back. But, this problem has been persistent, and has been going on for months to a year at this point. I'm not worried about him, because he is healthy, and acting like his normal self. we have had him since about 6 months old (he weened very early).

He also has quite a few stress marks still, which I can't explain. He has regular showers, at least 3 times a week, a good diet (though he will munch on my food occasionally), and a relatively happy life. The only time he is in his cage is when I am at school (even then my mom will take him out), and he will sleep with me at night (all precautions taken for safety).

He is a beautiful bird that refuses to talk, and just won't get back to full feathering. But the talking thing is a whole other deal, considering he is a massive closet talker.

So, I was in the middle of a dream, when all of a sudden, my vision (appears to be) gets fuzzy, almost like static from a TV all around the edge of my vision. Then, I started hearing a loud, high pitched ringing noise. After that, it felt like I was shaking uncontrollably.

This is the weird part (to me) though, it appeared to be happening in my dream, not real life. When I opened my eyes, it all began to fade. I couldn't open my eyes all the way at first, but not at all for the first (what felt like minutes was probably a matter of seconds).

I really just want answers. I don't want psychological evaluations, deep background of my dream (I think I was browsing Facebook), and I don't want bs. I just want to know what I experienced.

If it helps at all, I slept from about 11 to 3, then at about 4 I fell asleep again. This happened at about 4:50, and after that I fell back asleep.

Basically, all I want to do is play two clips at once in the same screen. So what I want is to have a main video playing with like a little video playing in the corner. Is there any free software that is available that I can do that with?

I am looking to get a first car. I need something with airbags, preferably pretty nice looking, and it has to have a manual transmission. I just want to know what a good car would be, and don't recommend something like a lamborghini, M5, BRZ, cadillac, tt, etc. I do have a max budget of 10,000 USD, but want to spend less than 5000. A Honda or Toyota is preferable, but not necessary.

I have no clue what's going on. I am trying to download Skyrim from a download code which I purchased legally. Steam doesn't stop the download, but the download just stops. It either says "suspended" for awhile, and then just says nothing but the percentage, or only says the percentage. Every time it stops on 56%. I have tried re-installing steam multiple times, deleting local content, pausing and unpausing, deleting the .blob file, and restoring the steam registry. Anything else I could do to get the download to continue?

My laptop keeps bluescreening. I don't know what to do, and don't know how to figure out where the problem is. I was bitcoin mining, and the GPU got incredibly hot. I think it might have damaged the motherboard, or the GPU itself. I don't know what to do.

It only bluescreens when I start up a game. The computer is a Laptop, XPS 15, 3rd gen Core i7 2670, NVIDIA GT 540m, 8gb of ram, and a 750gb hard drive. It has taken a fall recently, and it was from a pretty high height, so I don't know if that caused some damage.

It has the most recent BiOS, graphics drivers, etc.

Whenever I play Minecraft or NFS Most Wanted, my computer will either lose connection to the GPU or just bluescreen. I have no idea what to do about this, as I have checked the temps for the GPU which never get over 130 F, the games are easy to run, and I do everything at minimum settings. My computer is virus free.

Basically, I am playing NFS: Most Wanted on low settings, or Minecraft on the lowest settings, and my GPU fails. Sometimes it causes my laptop to blue screen, and sometimes it causes the game to close.

My question is, is there anyway to replace this GPU, or anyway to prevent a crash?

I am looking into becoming a bassist, and I would like to know what some good beginner gear would be. Like picks, the bass, an amp, a bag or case, and anything else I might need.

NOTE: I would prefer left-handed, but it doesn't make a difference.

I recently got the Galaxy S III, and I would like to know if there is a possibility of any of the apps having viruses. I don't want to screw up this phone, so anything would be nice.

I downloaded AVG, and if there is a different antivirus software that is better, please let me know.

I have osteochondritis dissecans (OCD), and I have recieved surgical treatment for it. I had surgery in march of 2012, and I have actually been having nerve problems. I know it is the ulnar nerve because the pain goes from my mid humerus area and travels all the way down to my hand and fingers. It is in the left elbow, and has become progressively worse. The other night I couldn't pick something up without an intense pain in my hand.
