Hi, sometime in the past month I developed a cold and it was one of those colds that you can feel is situated in your throat. Anyhow, I feel that the cold has went away fully(I think) and I've been left with this lingering cough. Is there anyway I can make it go away because it's really annoying and feels like it won't go away?

I had clear braces put in 4 months ago and a month ago when I went to see my dentist he said the last tooth that needed to move in to place(the tooth that I got braces for in the first place for to be moved) should be in place within the month, well that month has passed and I'm to go to see my dentist next week but the tooth still isn't fully in line with the rest of my row of teeth. Does anyone have experience of a stubborn tooth that won't move in to place with braces? The plan was that I'd only need braces for a maximum of 6 months

Hi there, I've always been interested in doing an apprenticeship but the one part of it I really wouldn't want to do is college. I simply want to work I don't want to ever be in a class. I know of 2 people who are doing apprenticeships but don't actually have to go to college, they get given a book to study from or something at home and that's it, that's the route I'd like to go down

Hi there, I'm from the uk and ever since my mid way through high school I've had a horrible horrible public speaking fear. It came from in my English class one year when we were required to do a presentation in front our class I was clearly very nervous while presenting and I was shaking and my voice was stuttering it was very scary. I've always had social anxiety and this kind of situation was a horror moment. Anyway during my presentation I looked up during my moment of nervousness and I could literally see my stand in teacher at the time smirking and laughing. It was horrible she literally scarred me for the rest of my life up to this point. Anyway the year after when I was asked to do another presentation for my English class I straight up refused and when they persisted on making me do this it made it even worse, I remember going home crying and telling my mum and dad and they were obviously very sympathetic with me wondering why people would be made to do such a thing when social anxiety is such a big thing in society and that it was never a necessity when they were in school. Anyway after letters from my mum and dad and my mum even coming in to speak with my teacher they managed to allow me to stand in front of my dad while he recorded me doing this presentation.

Hi there for the past couple months I have been constantly lightheaded and dizzy. It s incredibly annoying and when I make head movements sometimes I m hit with an intense bit of dizziness. Like if I m out watching football with my friends I can t sit side on to a TV with my head turned left as it feels like the world is spinning around my head and I feel like my balance is going to the point where I m going to keel over off my seat it s the strangest sensation so I quickly need to turn my head back so I m facing forward. Any ideas?

Hi there, my symptoms really properly started affecting me a month or two ago. Firstly I'm a 20 year old male. My symptoms started of as constantly feeling dizzy and having abdominal pains. As time has went on I've started having constant body aches right the way through in my back too. I get really random pains in my hands and feet also. I also have quite a bit of itching as well as headaches and the most recent of which has actually started having an impact on me at work is that I keep forgetting things. I work in a restaurant and customers drinks that I have remembered for years I am taking longer if not forgetting what their drinks were. I basically feel like I'm having brain fog. I have also in the past couple months put on 5 pounds, which as a really skinny boy who has always been 9 stone is obvisouly well documented. I'm going in to have bloods retaken on Tuesday but that was because my potassium was 0.1 over the general norm but when they took my blood they had trouble getting the blood and I also bled quite a bit after it so they said this could be the reason for that. Anyway I'm going to go in quickly on Monday to see my doctor so I can ask him if they can just to a full blood check up and tell him all the symptoms that have been increasingly arising lately. Every day is hard I hate waiting for tests and I also hate feeling like this I just don't feel like a regular 20 year old boy. Do people think this could be a thyroid problem?

Hi there I'm a 20 year old male, for the past 4 months I have been having sever discomfort under both my ribs(never both at the same time) it feels like someone is pushing there fingers under my ribs when I feel this discomfort. It's incredibly uncomfortable for me to lie on either side and feels like something is trying to burst out. At first I was concerned about my liver but I have had a liver function test done and my liver appears to be working fine. Does anyone know what this could be it's really uncomfortable

Hi there, for the past month and a half I have had a lot of discomfort under both my ribs like my ribs are poking in to something. So recently I had my bloods taken which shown my potassium was just slightly over the norm at 5.1 and this was the only thing off about the bloods that were taken. I've also at nights been feeling really quite itchy and have been feeling really dizzy and forgetful recently. If my kidneys had failed or I had kidney disease would my bloods show up something other than being 0.1 over the norm for potassium? I'm really worried

Hi there, about a month and a half ago I started feeling like something was always under both my ribs and it has been persistently like this and it's really uncomfortable, I'm also always itchy at night and have been feeling really dizzy and lightheaded constantly. I've went to my doctors and they took my bloods and all that came up was that my potassium levels were slightly high. I've searched this up and it's related to your kidneys and I've also read about night time itching and other symptoms I've been feeling make me worried I have kidney disease. I'm to go back in to get my bloods retaken to make sure my potassium levels being elevated were just a one off. Do people think I could have kidney disease?

Hi there, ever since the beginning of 2016 I have had enlarged lymph glands under my left armpit. I can feel pretty much all of them under there and I have had a doctor feel them and he said that they aren't worrisome and that I'm a hypochondriac. In that time from January of 2016 the lymph nodes have not grown or changed, however in that time there have been a few times where I have woken up soaked in sweat. And most recently which has made me being to worry more than anything about lymphoma again is that I've now found a new lymph glands under my right armpit and the most alarming thing is that I can't stop itching at night time like I literally get so itchy at night. I'm a 20 year old boy and I'm convinced this has to be lymphoma I'm having all the tell tale signs but I don't think doctors will take it seriously as they say all bloods are fine and they don't think the glands are worrying. I also get dizzy quite often during the day. I have however never lost weight in fact, I've put on 5 pounds since the start of 2017. Does anyone else think I could have lymphoma? I'm so scared

Hi there I'm 21 years old and my whole life I have never been able to put on weight. My entire late teenage life I know I've always been around the 9 stone mark but since the start of the year I've been eating far more regularly and having regular meals that include meals such as steaks and a chicken and healthier meals. Since the start of the year I've managed to put on 5-6 pounds and I'm am now 9 stone 5 pounds which is the most I've ever weighed. Is my metabolism slowing down and am I putting weight on because I'm eating better?

Hi there, I am 20 year old and for a month and a half i have had quite severe discomfort under my right rib. It feels like someone is putting their fingers in to the bottom of my ribs and tucking them under. It's incredibly uncomfortable! I'm mostly worried because one night I was involved in cocaine taking and it was not long after this that I started feeling the discomfort. I'm basically worried I've damaged my liver. I'm getting bloods taken for my liver function next Wednesday but I'm in constant discomfort. Sometimes I am receiving dull aches on the entire side of my right abdomen but it's mainly just under my ribs so this is why I'm worried about my liver, especially with the stupid cocaine use! I here about people damaging their liver after years of substance/alcohol abuse but I'm not sure the stuff could've been cut with things I suppose but I thought the liver was meant to be really hard to damage badly. Other people I was with also done it so I'm not sure. What do people think this discomfort could be?

Hi there, for the past month and a half I have been having a feeling of pressure under my right ribs it's an incredibly strange sensation it almost feels as if something shouldn't be there and is pressing against the bottom of my ribs. I'm worried because at a party once someone offered me a line of cocaine and I was drunk and everyone else was doing it so I done it too but I regret it. Anyway not long afterwards this sensation below my ribs started happening and I'm worried I've damaged my liver and it's enlarged or something! I've went to the doctor and I'm going to get my bloods taken next week to check my liver function and things but is it possible I've severely damaged my liver from this moment of stupidity?

After which I had decided I didn t want to buy what they were selling and just decided to leave it, later I received a message from them saying they were contacting the fraud team to which I told them I had just decided I didn t want to buy what they were selling and that I would never do such thing as commit fraud and then they said that they didn t care they were gonna contact the fraud team and that I would have to deal with the police. The reason I didn t want to buy of them originally was because I was already a bit suspicious of them. Anyway I deleted my account that they were messaging me on and i think I m going to just leave it because I think they were just threatening me with blackmail, what are people s thoughts on this?
