Basically, I am 17 years old, and I have been in my current employment for just over 2 years now. I am one of the longest running staff members there, and my manager has considered me for a promotion. She has said that I am the best at what I do, and that I am a valuable asset to the team. A few months ago, she had set some targets which had to be met before I could be promoted. She said we'll meet back in about 2 - 3 weeks, however this never happened. I asked her about a week ago whether or not the promotion is still available, and she replied that it's still on the cards. She also said that she'll hold another meeting the next time I am working to review my progress. I've been in about 5 times since, and she has not said a word about the meeting or anything like that. My place of employment is currently experiencing a loss at the moment, however being 17, I am on minimum wage, and to promote me is 30p extra an hour! Do I keep "pestering" my manager, or do I give up hope? Any comments greatly appreciated. :)

She came over and spoke to me for about five minutes and we got on really well. After I finished my food, she made ME do the washing up, even though I work in another department. I really like her, but others say she is really out of my league. Do you think she is using me, or do you think there might be something there? Why is she doing this? I tried to ask her out and she said "idm, I'm really busy atm so I'll see". Not sure if that's a no, but I told my best friend about it, and he in turn asked her. He told me "she is genuinely busy and she thinks I am taking it as a no". There was a point where we didn't speak for a while, but she popped up to me, and I said I would bring her a present back from America; we were then just sending funny snaps to each other. Do you reckon these are mixed signals, because I really have no clue anymore? Thanks :)

Okay, so basically I met this girl at laser tag one time at a teen night. When we started playing the games, she ditched all of her friends who were on one team to come on a team with me and a few others. She stuck around with me because she wanted someone to go around with, and we actually made a pretty good team. Afterwards, when the night ended we said goodbye. I saw her a week later, at the exact same event, although she was on her friend's team for half of the night, before finally switching to mine and my friend's team. She, again, stuck with me and my friends, and I managed to get her Snapchat as well. She posted a story with lots of crying faces, and I helped to console and comfort her, and she said she appreciated my help. Our "mutual" friend a couple days letter said to me that the girl wasn't going to laser tag this week, apparently because it was "too much money," however she did turn up, for some reason. That week, it didn't go so well, as she was with her friends pretty much until the end, bar the final game, where she joined me. Our mutual friend kept teasing me, as she knows I like said girl, and she kept asking me to call her a name she doesn't like being called. I refused, and then the mutual friend went over to tease the girl I like, maybe because she knows I like her, or perhaps she might like me back? I tried to get her attention on SC with stories as I'm too nervous to speak to her. It hasn't been working though. I just want to know if she likes me back.

Please help, I just want her to start the conversation...
