Ok, i've bought the RAM online from Crucial (1gb 200pin ddr2 sodimm 128x64 pc2-5300) but i can't see where to put the ram, i only see one slot when i take out the cover on the bottom, Will i need to take out the keyboard to do this? i reckon installing it will far cheaper than askeing TechGuys at PC world to do so but i've no idea what to do and i don't want to damage my laptop when installing so please give clear instructions. Bought Kodak Easyshare c913 and it arrived on monday. Opened it, put the batteries in then took pictures with it over the next few days. I tried to use it on Friday but it wouldn't turn on. put different batteries in (though i'm not sure if they are compatible, or if it even matters if they are compatible) and it still wouldn't turn on. Do i need to recharge the batteries? Or is there something wrong with the camera because it was working fine the day before? The camera couldn't drain the batteries that fast could it? (it my first digital camera)

everytime i download mame i have the same problem, i cant play any games. i dont have any roms but dont know where to get them from or where to put. i did try once and when i tried to play it, it still came up with missing files. i find it really annoying that the roms dont came with the mame package in the first place.

it doesn't make sense to me (ram) but maybe you can make sense of it.

ok, i bought my laptop 3 months and am looking to add more ram to the computer (seems apparent i can't change the video card), how do i find out the max, two websites have told me this. one said my max was 1048576mb (how much is that exactly?) and another said i had four slots (one had already been taken up with 1gig, i have vista home premium and a 1.86ghz intel celeron processor. i'm thinking for games, the more ram, the better they will be.

Essentially my laptop isn't for gaming (Graphics card and processor etc) and the video card is okay it would seem but most games have a habit of not recognising the laptop's video setup or say that i should upgrade (only for Vista to say there aren't any!)

i bought it 3 months ago and i have a 1.86-9GHz intel celeron processor, ATI Radeon X200M integrated motherboard, 1Gb RAM, 80Gb harddrive, 8xDVD drive and further more. I've read that it's difficult to upgrade laptops, esp graphics cards. slowdown is noticeable esp on Oblivion and i would like to know is whether by adding more RAM, (around 2Gig) could it be possible to improve the amount of ram given to the video card. i was thinking that at least 2 gig ram may increase the quality. any upsides/downsides from adding more ram, i read that you must be careful and that computers have a max amount. my laptop is new so of the top of my head i wwould assume it could take a fair amount (also i'll probably get a tech guy to install it

A relatively new laptop, about three months old or so that has a problem playing most games. it appears they can't recognise the graphics card. i heard that on laptops, graphic cards are integrated with the motherboard but i also heard you can remove it and install a new separate gaphics card. I'm a novice at this and pretty much just want to play games as best they cane. How on earth do i do this?
