Did Wilshire take after Rooney by finding everything so easy for the first year or two that they became complacent and lost their drive and work ethic?

Contrast how Ronaldo and Messi flourished from youngsters with total commitment and desire, then look at Rooney and Wilshire and you can see why England are always doomed to failure.

After they had beaten Bayern Munich last night the players were all celebrating on the pitch as if they had won something so it seems a bit sad that they have no trophy to go with this achievement.

If we can all put in 50p I will go to the local trophy shop and buy them their own special little trophy. After all, they did manage to finish 2nd in their group.
