Bells experiment model in Excel?
Hi!
I've just reproduced in Excel the Bell Experiment :-)
I mean, its a sample of 10.000 pairs of electrons with random spins that are measured at both sides. The spreadsheet produces both the theorical measurement and the experimental measurement, so as to understand the probability differences between the two results. Anyone interested?

1 AnswerSoftware5 years agoWhy is not possible to lift an air balloon into outer space?
How high can it go and why not more?
I understand that the bigger air pressure inside the balloon will make it explode at some height, but, hypothetically, if a "huge" balloon could be built, where will it stop? Or could it actually reach outer space?
2 AnswersPhysics8 years agoIs it better to unplug the water heater before a 2-3 day trip?
I imagine that unplugging at night and plugging back in the morning should not save electricity because of the time needed to heat back all the water in it. So, there must be a break even point in terms of days or hours where you start to save money on the electric bill when you unplug the water heater.
Anybody knows this break even point, "formula" or rule of thumb which I guess should depend on the amount of gallons of water in the water heater?
Thanks!

3 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoWhy is that food and technology go in opposite directions in terms of price and demand?
Technology goes down in price when a certain level of demand is reached due to lower production cost when producing more units, right?.
Why doesn't the same apply to food?. Everyday we are demanding more and more food, why it doesn't drop in price also?
3 AnswersEconomics1 decade agoWhy can't airplanes climb further up?
If air density and pressure is lower at higher altitudes, why can't an airplane keep going up after 30 or 40 thousand feet? Why do we need an escape velocity to surpass the atmosphere if we are already at a very high altitude with almost no air density?. I just can't get it. Thanks

Y!A should also take away your points after answering a deleted question, otherwise your best answer average diminishes because you won't have the option of obtaining the best answer nor delete it!. That's unfair. Don't you think?

Did the constellations names come after the figures they somehow represented in the sky or was it the other way around, I mean, they tried to figure out some resemblant figures within the stars that matched what the sign was supposed to mean?

2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoWeather prediction software?
Hi, I'm looking for a good weather prediction software, not those toolbars or radar maps than don't forecast anything.
I will love to see a good prediction based on history (neural networks?). How the clouds / winds move, what's the most likely chance of showers in a pointed region in the map.
So, instead of giving me the past 24 hours of clouds and data, show me what is coming in the next 12 hours.
Any clues?

I recently lost my Top Contributor in Mathematics. Why is this?.
Are there quotas you need to fill in so as to keep the Top Contributor sign?. What are they?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoDid you know?
Did you know that a best answer also receives an extra point for each "thumbs-up" he gets before selecting him/her answer as the best answer?.
So let's give this first answerer a Christmas present and thumb him/her up!!!
Thumb up the first answer please!!!.
3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoThumb up test?
Are there records kept somewhere in the amount of "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" an answerer has gotten?
Any way, can we please do a test here and "thumb up" the first answerer of this question to see how many he gets?. That way I would also know how many people read my question.
Thanks!
