I have been married for 4 years in May and have a 3 and a half year old son and a 2 year old daughter.

  • When should a bride stop asking?

I am in my friends wedding a week from tomorrow. She was my maid of honer when i got married almost 3 years ago. I had her dress made my mom did her hair and basically she had to be here. Her daddy paid for her to come. Anyway. She is getting married in South Lake Tahoe and i am in Idaho. Theres a 8 hour drive to get there. She asked me to pay 200 for a dress to wear in the wedding and i had to rent my sons tux to be her ring bearer. I talked her into letting me have my dress made and she is still throwing a fit over it. She called me last night saying that everyone in the bridal party is having their hair AND make-up done by a lady at 100 bucks a pop. I don't have money just to throw it around like this. YEt she is REQUIRING us all to have this done. Am i wrong for thinking this is a little obsered? I made sure her things were paid for except travel to get into town from california. But yet her knowing that i'm on a limited budget still has her asking. What should i do.. Ignore it?

  • When did you stop having trouble keeping your child in the car seat?

I have a son who is 2 years and almost 8 months. Anytime I leave my house with him in tow I have to zip tie his carseat shut. He has recently learned how to undo the buckle across his chest. He's in a 5-point harness convertable carseat. I was wondering who has had to deal with this and if all your kids did this as well. My daughter will be 15 months on valentine's day. She has no concept of this yet. I know that the day he turns 3 i'm going to switch him to a different carseat used with the regular seatbelt ( he's already tall enough for that) but what did you do in the mean time?
