Corey
The name is Corey... A lot of my time here on Answers is spent answering questions about tattoos, piercings, drug/alcohol addictions, and mental disorders/psychological problems. I am a piercer and I LOVE it! I love helping people make wise decisions and also helping them save piercings that are the result of unwise decisions [either their own or the piercer :P ]... I am also a recovering drug/alcohol addict. I've been clean for almost 2 years and couldn't be happier. I love helping others who are struggling with addiction and giving them and their loved ones hope for a better future..I know it sounds cliche, but if I can do it, anyone can! :) I am a psychology major..I have about 3 years left for my bachelor's degree and then 3 more years of med school to become a psychiatrist. I can't wait!
What is the min and max sentence for driving under a suspended license?
A friend of mine lost her license last year..She continued to drive and was caught once last year and had to go to court for driving under a suspended license. The judge said that he could send her to jail for 6 months, but he further suspended her license. She was supposed to get her license back soon, but she got caught driving again. She goes to court next week. What is the min and max sentence she is facing with this charge?
Please don't be rude or disrespectful...If you know the answer, great. If you don't, I'm not looking for advice...(that came off as rude, but really, it's not me, so I really don't need advice on the issue)...Thank you!
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoHelp interpreting at home drug test??
So...
I used to be a drug addict...to make a long story short...up until about a month ago, I had given up everything BUT marijuana. Last month, I gave that up to (a VERY good decision).
I interviewed for a job the other day and found out that I have to take a pre-hire drug test. So to make sure that the marijuana matabolites were out of my system, I took an at home 4-panel drug test (they were out of the marijuana tests). I read the instructions and it said that a negative result would appear as a pink to red line next to the control and drug.
I'm confused..I think that I had a negative on everything...but is it just a coincidence that the drug line for marijuana is a faint pink and every other line is dark pinkish red? or is there still a traceable amount of marijuana matabolites in my system?
I'm new to the home testing kits..so any help is appreciated...
Thank you ahead of time!
1 AnswerOther - Health1 decade agoHome remedies for oral yeast infection (thrush?)?
I went and got a second tongue piercing about a week ago...
I had a couple of slip ups with aftercare..I drank beer and dairy products after receiving the piercing.
I know that this was a mistake and I think that I may be getting an oral yeast infection. The piercing is still a little tender (only had pain for 3 days with the first piercing) and I have white spots (kind of like a film in some places) on my tongue.
Does anyone know any good home remedies for oral yeast infections? I'm out of town and not able to see a doctor for about a week (no insurance card with me and no extra cash for co-pay).
Any help or advice would be appreciated!!
7 AnswersAlternative Medicine1 decade agoI need advice?
I am a recovering drug and alcohol addict..While I know that it is not healthy for me to continue drinking occassionally given my past record, I still drink from time to time. When I drink, I always get drunk as a result. It gives me a boost and I love it, but I feel like it's getting out of control again...
Lately, I've been having the feeling of needing alcohol again. I've been drinking more often and my usual goal is to get drunk.
While I do not think that my problem has reached the point where I need rehab again, I do think that I need to find different things to keep my mind off of drinking or healthy alternatives.
What are your suggestions? Any advice is appreciated. Please, no rude answers. Serious answers only.
5 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoMoving in with fiance, please help!!!?
I am 18 years old and attending college. My fiance and I have been engaged since I was 16 and we have decided to move in together during the summer. I've never lived anywhere but with my grandparents and parents and don't really know what to expect. If it helps: I visit him and stay with him some weeks when my current schedule allows. I need some advice on how to make a smooth transition and what to expect..thanks!
