My ex girlfriend broke up with me last week. She has had a lot of deaths in her family and she can't give me the type of relationship I want right now as we both agreed about. She still wants to talk to me just like nothing has changed and she has been depressed about the breakup. She texts me and calls me just like we are still together. So I don't understand why she wanted to breakup in the first place. I assume it is because she wants to heal herself first after the deaths she has dealt with. She is also coming to terms with not being able to have kids as we are 11 years apart in age. She is 41 and I'm 30. I know she keeps saying she is broken but I still love her for who she is

I have been dating someone for a month and 1/2. She just moved here and ever since then, we have been dating. We are open to date other people as well, but we have been spending a lot of time with each other. I don't want to date other people, but I did say I respect that she might since we are just getting to know one another. I am scared that I am going to get hurt in this process since she thinks we are moving fast and she wants to slow it down. I understand that considering she just moved here to South FL across country, but I am a very sensitive guy so this is tough for me. She has been nothing but honest with me and told me that she likes me and everything. Also everyone else has told me that they believe that she does. I just really don't want to get hurt. There is also an age difference I should say. I'm 29 and she is 23

I have been dating this girl for a month and 1/2 now. We started dating just right after she moved to Florida. We have had sex a few times and really gotten close to each other. I even sleep over her house a few times a week. The other night, she says to me, she wish the relationship wasn't as fast as it is going. We have natural chemistry and it isn't force when we hangout or anything. I know she really likes me, so I'm just trying to figure out what she might mean.

I have been dating someone for a little over a month and there are times where she will just stop and stare at me. When I ask her what she is thinking, she will say nothing or she will smile. I have never dated anyone like her and while it is too early to say anything, I love being around her.

Been a Raider fan for well over 20 years as most people know. I am not totally happy with them anymore. It is more than just wins and losses as well. When Al Davis died, I felt like times would change and it seems like they are going in a different direction. This is the first time in my life where I am thinking of seeing what it feels like to be a fan of a different team

I have been a Raider fan ever since I was 5 years old when they were in Los Angeles. I have rooted for them over 20 years, but I am tired of the turnover and the dysfunction of this organization. I felt like they should have never fired Hue Jackson after one season. They fired Tom Cable after their best season since 2002 as well. They are going on their 8th coach since the year 2000 and I'm sick of their pathetic state. You can't win in the NFL or any sport if you don't have consistency in the front office and the coaching staff. Things were finally starting to look up for the Raiders and I felt like next year, they would be better. I understand they hired a new GM, but I felt like he and Mark Davis should have given Hue at least one more season. Now the Raiders, who haven't made the playoffs since the year 2002 are back to square 1. I am really considering not rooting for them anymore. I am thinking I want to be a NFL fan free agent and see what team I want to root for next. The team doesn't have to be a contender, but I just feel like the Raiders organization are idiots and have no idea what they are doing.

I'm a black male I love women, but as of late, it seems like I am mostly attracted to white and Hispanic females. People at work were asking me what type of females am I attracted to and I said I don't have a type. I don't want to seem like an *** and say that I mostly prefer white women because that is all I have dated ever since the year 2005. I have never dated Hispanic women, but now since I'm living in South Fl, I want to date one even more than I have before. The people from work said that I should admit that I have a type, but I guess I don't want to seem like an *** or something.

I moved to the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area 2 months ago for a job. haven't met anyone outside of work and I work with nothing but women that have boyfriends and such. I am looking to meet new people and friends, but I don't know where to start. I go to bars all the time, but everyone seems to be with someone else or their girlfriend. It is so hard to meet people when you are the new guy and I don't know what to do. I would like to at some point start dating, but of course I would need to meet people first and get to know them. I have been to out to sports group meetings and everything, but I guess it is just harder to meet people as you get older.

I was talking with people at work and I told them I am 29 years old, which they couldn't believe. After that, one of them asked why wasn't I married and or had any children yet and I told her that I just haven't met the right girl. I got the impression that she might have thought there was something wrong with me since I am a single black male with no children that is 7 months away from being 30. I haven't dated as much as many people my age have and when I do break up with girlfriends, I tend not to date for a long period after. I just would like to get a sense of what the public thinks about this subject.

I am a very single male and I haven't been an relationship for a few months know. I moved to the Miami area and haven't really met anyone as females go. In my lifetime, it seems like you almost have to have a girlfriend already in order for women to notice you and I always wonder why that is. If you don't, they wonder what is wrong with you especially if you are close to 30 like I am.

I am a person that wears my emotions on my sleeve and I do fall in love with woman so very quickly. It seems like I put everything into the relationship only to get hurt in the end. My mother suggested that I don't fall in love so quick, but that is a very hard thing to control. I wish I could hold my feelings back, but up to this point, I haven't been successful. I don't know do I scare people off with my emotions or what, but this is just how I am.

I am trying to find seasonal or part-time work to make a little extra money. I don't need the money, but I just want to work a part-time job 3 or 4 days a week. The problem I am finding is no one will even give me a call back regarding work. I am more than qualified for the jobs as far as education goes, so I don't understand what the big deal is. It is very head scratching that someone with a college degree in Communication can't even get a call back or an interview. I'm just trying to understand why that is. I know the economy isn't that great, but still. I live in the Fort Lauderdale area and I see posting all the time.

I take things personally because I'm a sensitive guy. My mom says it somewhat relates to confidence. I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to dating situations. I always get put in the friend zone and just recently, I asked this girl to try and pursue something more and I got rejected pretty harshly. Now she said that she didn't want to date someone from work, which I respect, but she said she just sees me as a friend. I took that pretty hard and I was hurt by it. I've never had the most confidence in myself even when growing up. People say I'm a nice looking guy, but I just don't have the confidence to go up to a women without knowing if she is interested. I hurt easily, so I don't want to get rejected and that would hurt me a lot. I'm just trying to gain some confidence, so I can talk to women. I know I'm a smart guy and have a lot to offer, but women always want to just be my friend

I just moved down to Ft. Lauderdale last month and I want to take this girl out next weekend, but I have no idea what to do. I know there is a ton to do here, so if you have any ideas that would be great

Everyone I have talked to says I should do it because she seems interested since she is asking me questions but IDK. I guess I don't know because I don't have a lot of confidence in myself. I'm thinking of asking her for lunch but I don't want her to think that I just want to be friends. So I'm am trying to figure out what should I do

I just moved to Fort Lauderdale recently and I'm trying to find some fried seafood. I have found seafood places here, but none of the ones I found were fried.

I'm a 29 year old male. And I've been in relationships where I put my all into it and I end up getting hurt. My mother says I fall too fast for a person and that is why I get hurt. She thinks my feelings progress too fast but I really don't have any control over that. I've been in love or I thought was love plenty of times only to be hurt so I don't know what to do. Maybe I do move too fast but this is the only way I know how to do it. How do I scale back my feelings so I don't get hurt?
