i do alot of car audio....i mean A LOT! but there are 2 amps that im deciding on right now they are only 100 rms apart the first is an autotek ss1900.1D 1900 rms and the other is bxi2006D 2000 rms will i notice a difference?? my sub need 2000 rms the 1900 is 199 and the 2000 is like 230, will it be a big enough diff 2 notice the 1900 is old school so it should b right at 2k rms though. any thought?

im sooo tired of this car now, 350 lt1 1995 model. i replaced the optispark seal and i noticed the 3 bolts were loose so i gave 2 of them a tighten not real tight just non moving tight, after reassembling everything, the car started and sounded reallllllll bad(im about 95% sure i got the distributor back on right) but it only stared for about a mim then cut off. an when i put my foot on the gas it acted like it wanted to cut off then reved up(oil might have gotten into the distributor i dont think so though). after that it will not start untill i take the water pump and belt off most of the time. i also lost 1 of the the distributor bolts( 3 bolts total) somebody help me i promised my girl we would go ice skating b4 christmas. remember optispark with 350 lt1 help

i have a 1995 chevy caprice with the 350 and when its coil the oil pressure is good, but when it warms up the oil pressure drops so much it makes the "check gauge" light come on. the car leaks ALOt of oil when its hot, it leaks from the front part of the engine. the car has 147k miles, i only put on about 30 miles since i had it(i would not prefer to drive it with it like this). the engine for the most part is in good condition but i dont like oil spots. would thicker oil do the trick or some other remedy. cant afford to take the engine out to check the pump, unless there is a way to test it still in the car. need answers i give 10 points

1st off the car has 147k miles.

i have changed the oil, spark plugs, wires, coolant, tranny fluid..after i changed the tranny. and it was runnung good not sounding funny at all THEN. the i went to the store and it misfired a lil bit so i thought i needed gas, after the gas station wen i pulled in the driveway it cut off, the car was in drive with my foot on the brake. then it started to crank up funny...sound like a transformer for 2 seconds before it crunk up. then it stopped starting all together. i changed the optispark distributor and after that, my dad said it was bad gas. well now when its in drive it has a rough idle when warm. i heard it was the compression. and the true dual exhaust only one side gets warm an puts out smoke. the other just "putts". im going to a shop monday to keep from just throwing money at it. an if somebody on here says buy another car ill report abuse to yahoo.....i like this car and i wanna keep it!!!!! can somebody help this chevy guy

i have a 1995 caprice and the spedo stays at 0 no matter how fast i go and the "trip" thing also stays at 0. the gas gauge stays at empty too. wen my battery was almost dead the fuel gauge read correct. somebody give me the rundown, i head it was the fuel pump but that was changed on the car b4 i got it...the old one is still in my back seat lol

i have a 95 caprice an i wanna know what transmissions from other cars or suvs can i put in it. i has to be a 700R4 or a 4L60E but idk which one. it has a digital dash an i heard that the 4L60E is the one i have. n buying it is not the prob but finding which one goes in it. like from a 95 blazer or a chevy van from the same year but idk what cars can have the same transmission

i had 2 jl subs they were 15s so they were an older model the cone was like a plastic like material not a non pressed paper cone like other ones and it had no wattage on the back or anything it just said jl audio on the back of the magnet and on the diaphram it just said jl audio no other marking what so ever i am tryin 2 update my whole system but i sold them and i need 2 know how many rms were they i had them on a kicker zr1000 amp at 1 ohm an i never smelled coils burning they were great but the surrounds started ripping so i sold them the terminals were no push terminals they were just like how the inside of a speaker box is the thing that looks like the tip of a dull knife i hope that narrows it down they were black with a tan surround like a w3

i have a kicker oldschool amp, i upgraded big 3 with 2 awg. got alt tested at 85 amps i think my battery is dead my lights dim...less since i put in the cap. b4 cap about 10.33 at the lowest on "White Girl" now its at about 12.2 is the lowest i got a 1.5 cap, do i need 2 get another battery?? is it just my big honking amp that draws a lot i might try a diff amp 2maro or wire it to 2 ohms from 1 which i daily drive. this guy is selling deep cycles for golf carts for 20$...he has a lot of them would this work as a car battery..... i kno its pretty bad but i am kind of on EMPTY from the cap an amp so cut me some slak.

i have 2 4 ohm subs and wen i put a ohm meter on it it says like 1.9 or something like that, the amp is a zr1000 i think its 1 ohm stable from what i read heres the link to how i wired them in the kicker box. how many ohms is it wired to??

my 93 diamante lights were dimming when i hit the locks and my headlights surged with the gas pedal, upgraded big 3 with 2awg wire and got it tested and the alt and bat was ok, then i put in a kicker zr1000 amp and 2 12s and my lights were dimming with the bass so i got it checked again and they said my charging system was good 14.4 coming off alt but the battery went as low as 10.88 volts with bass. battery charge sucking the real power away from the amp what should i do??

i kno i need another battery but this is the 2nd battery i went through if i get a yellow top will this happen 2??

my friend has this car that he will let me have for FREE BUT!

his mother lost the title and i think he still owes money on the car.

i have enough to get it running perfect or get the whole engine replaced. will i have to get a salvage title, an in the process of the title will the matter of the money come up?

i am asking not only because i dont kno but just to be sure the cash i think he owes doesnt bite me in the A$$

debating weather or not to get a 1994 caprice with no windshield and digi dash

I can get the windshield cheap as hell. But I need to know weather or not I can use any bubble caprice windshield if I can't find a 1994.

The bodys usually change around the 6th year but there is no caprice after 1996....

i have a alpine cva-1006 in dash and i want to know how to test it just 2 make sure it works what should i do there is usually 3 wires the red black and yellow, i know twist the red and yellow and ground the black bout this is not working what should i do to test it. experienced people only

ok, so if you hold your foot on the brake and shift through the gears, each gear catches. on the highway, when you acclerate it doesn't shift out of first, it stays in 1st till it winds out then it shifts.

my cars fan is hooked to a switch under the dash to the fuse box.

when i went to go 2 switch it on a puff of smoke came from under the hood then i switched it back off, now mostly none of my electronics work the horn, brake light,radio, and emergency flashers etc do not work any more. there was exposed wire i think it shorted from that. can someone out there in answer land can tell me how to reset or replace them or fix the problem. it is a 1985 cadillac deville
