  • How can my birth mom reject me twice?

Well, I grew up being adopted by the best mom that anyone could ever want or need, but I always felt that sense of rejection from knowing that I was given up...I reunited with my birth mom, knowing that she didn't even really want to meet me..Supposedly she was "afraid"...I knew that she was more concerned with her own feelings and that she didn't really care or love me like a mother loves her child. She was more obsessed with how I was ripped from her arms when i was born than how things are today. Anyway, I have bio-sisters that I am close with and life is great in that area but my bio-mother has rejected me--yet again--and has not replied to me or anything for a year now. I send her birthday notes and emails occasionally trying to tell her that I love her--etc and I get no response--how can anyone be so cruel?? I do not understand it at all.. I am a mom of 6 and I would rather die than make a child that I bore feel the pain of being completely rejected and shunned--I just can't even believe it.
